I have loved this game for years, playing mainly pvp. I used to be excited to get on and play, but since EoF, it just feels so uninspiring.
-Obviously, hunter arc and solar mellees are way overtuned. I like playing all classes but was a hunter main for a long time. Now, anytime I play anything else, I just feel at such a disadvantage.
Gamblers dodge should not refund a mellee instantly at such a low mellee stat, and the mellee cooldown for some mellees are just crazy low. Tempest strike having 20~ something seconds cooldown with 60 mellee stat, PLUS getting a whole charge back on dodge is just lunacy. Lightweight knife should not be refunded on radiant kill, and tracks way too well. The cooldowns on some hunter subclasses just seem way lower than on any of the other classes for whatever reason.
Played trials as arc and could literally do two or more tempest strikes EVERY ROUND. With 60 mellee and 60 class. That is just not right.
I like that dodge is on a low cooldown, but the abilities that come with it should in general be on a higher one in my opinion.
-Invisibility is another pain point. Make it either be more visible, or not remove the player from radar.
-Bolt charge is still too strong, and leads to an insanely boring playstyle where whole teams just stand behind cover and deal insane amounts of damage.
-One shot abilities, whichever they are, should not exist. Be it peregrine shoulder charge, knives that bounce around 3 corners with the exotic I don't remember the name of, or anything else. Actually aiming a knife is okay though in my opinion, because it involves skill. And nobody is using it for that reason anyway. Abilities should be complementary in my opinion, not a completely free kill.
-Special ammo should end up in your reserve, not on the ground. Otherwise happy about the special meter. But now it's too punishing which is why everyone end up running double primary.
-Graviton spike is way too strong. The stasis overcharge in particular does too much. Insane amounts of damage, spawning stasis shards blocking your way, pushing you out of cover, and flinching you so much you can hardly shoot back to begin with.
All in all, we were at such a good state with checkmate. A shame we are so far from it now.
Not completely related to sandbox, but I was excited to see what the new cruicible weapon at shaxx would be. Turns out there is none, not even old ones to focus. Nothing. No comp focusing either, making it feel kind of pointless unless you really want the hand cannon (which I don't). Same comp emblem as before as well.
Really feels like PVP was left in the gutter, and it feels more imbalanced between the classes and more unrewarding than ever.

2 RespuestasYou mean Graviton Spike. Yes, that's the biggest thing that needs a nerf rn.
