I am not enjoying the new state of Destiny.
I am trying my best to enjoy this game as it is, but I find myself frustrated and uninspired.
I have seen every high and low of this game, but this feels different, a shell of what Destiny was even a few months ago. The reasons are clear, there are countless posts with details already.
I saw the vision initially, in practice, I am constantly being restricted and the path forward does not make it any better, just more restriction.
Also, fireteam finder sucks. I spend a stupid amount of time waiting for someone to accept me in, then hope people ready up, then hope the fireteam leader starts it before someone leaves, then hope someone doesnt leave. Starting your own team is a little better, but similar problems persist.

2 RespuestasToday is probably my final day. As a pvp player, I've been extremely irritated at the game lately and couldn't figure out why. I checked my stats. This season, i have over 250 comp games so far. I have an average KD of 1.39. I've gone negative a total of 9 times. And yet, I have lost over 175 of my matches. There is no point in trying or playing any more.

6 RespuestasAnd now Solstice isn't even an event, I was actually looking forward to some bonfire bash this year to break up the boredom of the portal, but nope, not even that, the light at the end of the tunnel was switched off. 🤦

I still enjoy the gaming loop. Shooting aliens is fun, supers are fun - but having 300 adds on you at once in low gravity with a gun that takes 30 seconds to reload while shelling out damage 5 at a time is starting to wear on me... I deal just enough damage to not kill an add, am just close enough to be shot by a sniper and facing just the right way for an enemy to spawn behind me...none of that feels good...and it's all by design... Limited revives, timers, exploding ammo - all of these are lazy ways to make a game seem challenging without doing anything...

1 RespuestaI think it would be miles better if everything in fireteam ops had matchmaking turned on by default. No idea why that isn't the case.

This game isn’t for Destiny players anymore. Too much catering to Streamers. Bungie is aware of the playerbase dropping but doesn’t seem to care. It’s all about Eververse and “the grind” at this point.

4 RespuestasIf someone just came back to the game they would not know what to even do anymore. I had to ask my buddy how tf is he light 260 when I’m not even 200 (I’m 199) yet he explained the menus and how to get rank A rewards.. something that the game should have explained. I’m not even new to this game and I had no idea…..

1 Respuestai absolutely cannot stand Fireteam Finder because of some of the things you mentioned, and l cant believe they got rid of the legacy lfg option from the D2 app..i use to get my lfg's very quickly doing it that way. This game is a mess and l am not looking forward to grinding anything over 400 power just for it to be reset

It feels like Bungie genuinely do not like their players. Just read that Solstice this year is just solar modifiers on .. you guessed it, Portaloo activities. The same old content players are expected to play hundreds of times and still love it. Praksis and Warrior are from the Beyond Light campaign .. that's five year old content. Meanwhile Sunless Cell got removed. They did this before with a Nessus strike that we only got to play for a couple of weeks. It's got to the point that Destiny now is just a horrible experience all round and feels like a massive waste of time. Just imagine what Marathon is going to be like once they nick enough artwork to finish it. I am trying Warframe and really enjoying it. I have no wish to play the selection of dross Bungie call content. They are tone deaf. Always will be. The only way to get the message through is to stop engaging with this failed franchise.

16 RespuestasRight now I'd take lightfall over edge of fate, I know each to there own. Some will like new changes, but most did not ask or want these changes, the grind is atrocious, same activity over and over, plus it's old content, it becomes very repetitive and changes are needed, I hope they do. My worse problem is starting all over again every few month, as I said each to there own

I've been staying positive, but when I get bored, I go to crucible and the same problems are there alongside current problems. Idk, Destiny rising comes out next month, maybe Netease will ease the transition.
