bungie won't do anything. you have to work with the platforms to get your account back. account security is left up to the users.

I know I didn't give my info to anyone or logged into any phishy website, so it's not only up to the user. If it's something from their game, at least something must be done. I'll keep trying to contact support on epic, but if nothing happens then how am I supposed to play the game? I get kicked out as soon as I log in, sometimes I can play but why would I farm the game for someone else? I'm sure they can disable a feature permanently on someone's account, it shouldn't be too hard to just lock my account out of crossave. Just disabling it should be simple enough
-
Hi there! In order to deactivate Cross Save, you must be able to authenticate all linked accounts .Bungie cannot do this, as this would be considered unauthorized. For more information, please review the Cross Save Guide, linked below. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide You must continue to work with Epic Games Support to retrieve your account.
-
Look, I'm the owner. If I'm authorizing it, why would it be unauthorized? I can even sign a contract if that's the case. Just wanna play my fav game in one peace!
-
Saying you own something doesn't prove anything lol also why would bungie be able to log into your account if you cant? That's a platform feature
-
You also need to read it again, I'm able to log in using psn, steam and xbox. I was able to use epic too, but it got hacked and the hacker changed all my details and is playing d2 on my account using epic! That's the problem!
-
I mean, if I created the account then I'm the owner. That's how it works, no? I have receipts and everything if i need to prove it. You're saying like it's my fault, it's not. Bungo has to do something. Also I'm sure they have access to everyone's profile, after all bungie.net is theirs. What kind of game company has a website and don't have access to it? Doesn't make sense. Like I said, they should be able to just disable crossave permanently on my account and it would solve the problem, as i said before i authorize it. If they can ban someone from playing a specific gamemode like the timeouts in comp, then they can ban a feature like crossave on someone's account too.
-
Again, Bungie doesn't have your log in details. They also removed the ability to unlink accts. No exceptions. Nothing can be done.
-
Who are you to tell? They surely do have everything from everyone, that's how a website works. Something can be done, I'm not asking to unlink it, I'm asking to disable crossave entirely on my account, like permanently. These are two different things. I'm pretty sure they can disable a feature, after all it's their game, so I'll keep trying instead of just letting a hacker play d2 on my account! I'm not giving up! Come at me with solutions, not with "nothing can be done". Something CAN and SHOULD be done!

Editado por VTHokies: 8/1/2025 2:18:49 AMDo you think you're the first to have asked for this? They haven't done it for anyone else. They won't do it for you. Your setup will resume as is. There is no way to change it. Asking repeatedly isn't going to change the answer.

Not going to happen. The policy is the same for everyone no exceptions
-
It's going to happen, no matter how much I'll need to try. If you're not helping and just here to spread negativity, then feel free to leave.
-
I been here a long time and understand the policies. There is nothing bungie will or can do
-
Mentors are in place by Bungie to provide Bungies policy to users like you and other players. Mentor has provided you with a direct link to Bungies firm stance. Bungie will make NO exceptions.
-
Trust me, they will, they have to. I didn't just loose access to my epic account, it has been hacked, the hacker deleted all my 3 characters and made theirs and is now playing crucible on my account like it's a normal tuesday! What else am I supposed to do? Make another account and let the hacker have all my things for free? Not going to happen. I've grinded this account by myself and I want it only to myself. I'm still contacting epic trying to recover it, just gotta hope they can help me out and would be greatly appreciated if someone came with a solution instead of "not going to happen, there's no exception", I can guarantee you if it was a content creator there would be a exception and you know that right, but I'm just a nobody, so what's left to me is begging.
-
Account security is our responsibility. Not Bungies.
-
It's Bungie's responsibility too! The heck am I supposed to do if it got hacked then? Hack the hacker back? That's the worst take I've ever seen. As I said to the other dude: if you're here to just spread negativity, feel free to leave. They're a game company, if something happens in their game it's their responsibility!
-
You need to work with Epic support to recover the account. Bungie cannot assist you in this.
-
Incorrect. You are responsible for you own accounts.
