Trials - Make it Solo only
Seems like a simple fix.
Remove the Team component in Trials, and make it only solo queue. Or just remove 3 man Fireteams. A strong team of 2 isn't as difficult as a coordinated team of 3.
This will get rid of the teams who stomp, and will get rid of sweaty no life players (good riddance) who only play with a team.
The population will [i]increase[/i] and improve matchmaking times for everyone.
Change my mind.

Eh, they can do both. They just choose not to. It is my firm belief, and I will never back down from it that groups should literally never go against anything but other groups. I don't care if it feels like punishment. I don't care if its too hard. I don't care if it ruins the fun of running over other players. I don't care if it prolongs matchmaking times, because they should know how it feels. If we should have to live with it, so should they in their own lobby.

8 RespuestasA better change would be to revert it to how it was, have the new changes be on a seperate card only obtainable by new and low skill players and then have three queues (trio, duo and solo) that never blend. Another solid change would be a rollback of basically every change made to the snadbox since March 5th 2024.

If they are sweaty and have no life, they will beat you, regardless of the team size. It is much easier to say you lost to a stack, than to admit the players in that stack are better than you - which is of course why you lost to them…

Even if they do make it solo queue only, you’ll be back here asking for another change because so many of you would rather blame the game than admit you’re not as good as you want to be.

Terrible idea, only time me and my buddy play together nowadays since they got rid of Elimination as a permanent mode (his favorite type of mode) and made comp no longer Survival and Countdown. I don't need the only friend that still even touches the game quitting too 🤣

One of the most popular weekends was when they had the solo only queue and the teams queue but teams cried because they said it was too hard facing only 3 stack teams.

10 RespuestasIf you're a solo player and come up against a duo or trio, you immediately get loss protection. It becomes a free hit, a win counts on your card like any other and a loss doesn't. The same goes for teammates leaving early. What more can you reasonably ask for?

Or. Do the opposite of what you’re saying. Prevent Trials from becoming a casual playlist outright. Increasing prestige and worth back into the game mode so that that the casuals will be inspired to improve and compete (or at least pay recovs) and watch the mode flourish and grow. Or don’t and carry on with the casual everyone gets a trophy theme and watch the mode fall back to 50k players a week. Console players like me win here because we were accustomed to about 30k a week players before crossplay so it’s win win for us.
