Multiple same drop arms, helmets, slippers... whatever you don't need you WILL get in multiples.
This is a FACT, much like the weapon perk drop rates, it is programmed against the player for more play time.
If Bungie were to be playing at the crap table(DICE) i WOULD WHOLEHEARTEDLY PUT everything DOWN ON WHATEVER BUNGIE BETS ON, the long odds of 5-6 snake eye rolls in a row, yup.
The odds of getting 5 gauntlets out of 7 drops is improbable at best.

I just got 3 heavy weapons in a row from different sources. The week before, I pulled 4 class items—again, from a variety of sources. Then I got 4 Roses, with 3 of them having the Tremor perk. There’s no way the RNG is purely probability-based. And now, after Bungie sort of acknowledges their ‘weighing’ (of course, calling it a bug—sure), all the fanboys will be quick to scream ‘conspiracy.’ In reality, though, Bungie’s primary metric for success is retention time, so of course, they’re going to do everything possible to keep us grinding. It’s not rocket science..

Gotta love it when I get 4 arms in a row. And at same level.

2 RespuestasAnecdotal evidence =/= facts, but I get being annoyed by it.

It's RNG what of course means an algorithm governed by Bungie rules. Having said that you can be lucky. This week's reset I started with 2006 and yesterday I reached 2010. Two or three duplicates, the rest all different slots. Lucky me no doubt. But I know the suffering well and still do detest the unnecessary grind.

The crowd who statistically proved rng-gate for weapon perks need to do pinnacles drops now. “How did that code get there?” -bungie

That's why you should play on all 3 classes because the vhanges Bungie made at the beginning of final shape they made it where your highest class character will reflect your drops for your other character. Ex so if you have one character that's 2009 all of your drops on your alternatives will be 2009. I go through the similar experience I get duplicates, but it doesn't really affect my level progression because I play on all 3 classes... Also if you have bad experience on all 3 classes just move on it's a game just relax calm down. Don't expect for this kind of thing to change completely because that's how it's been since 2014 destiny..

7 RespuestasI'm sorry you're experiencing unlucky RNG Guardian. Makes me appreciate more that I have reached pinnacle cap.
-
They’ve been doing this for years. Anything to get players to engage with the game as long as possible is -blam!- annoying. All they’re doing is running off players. -blam!- gets boring AF trying to level up.
-
I just need a class item , and I am 2010(the power level , not the year)

1 RespuestaEditado por Sen: 11/7/2024 5:51:09 PMRNG shouldn't be included in leveling at all IMO. The time it takes to get to pinnacle cap always needs to be fixed and the only thing that changes is HOW MUCH of a pinnacle cap increase there is. That's the only thing that it should affect the time it takes to get to whatever pinnacle cap is. I don't understand why there is no concept of having a currency, getting said currency from completing pinnacle activities/encounters, and then spending that currency on whatever you need. You can add a cap to the weekly currency. I don't care. Just make it a fixed POINT A and POINT B. And I don't agree with stuff outside of endgame having pinnacle rewards. Endgame activities should be the only activities that grant pinnacle cap. And if people don't want to do those, that's fine. You can make it up with 10 bonus levels in the artifact. Get rid of power level advantage in certain PvP modes for all I care. Endgame should always be the the only way to get to max power in any game. That's the point. That's why its called ENDgame. And if people don't want to see the end, if they focus on fun, and enjoying the game, they can do that but at a price for not doing endgame. The very act of doing easier activities and working your way up is fun to people. That's why MMOs exist and why I'm mostly playing FFXIV. Bungie keeps making choices that make Destiny not have a definitive identity. Do they want this game to be a game where people can come home and just sit down and play it, or is it made for people looking for an MMO approach where we get clans and groups tohether to do harder activities? Choose one Bungie.

Forever 29. Never forget. RNG progression system is trash.

"Folks, let me tell you, when it comes to Destiny 2, I'm not just playing, I'm dominating. I've got the whole game figured out, every single pinnacle drop comes to me like they're begging to be on my Guardian. They say, 'Sir, you're the best, here's your pinnacle gear, it's yours.' And you know what? They're right. It's like the game knows, it respects my time, my strategy, my sheer will to win. I don't chase after pinnacle gear; it chases me!
-
I agree 100%, but I'm not sure how it matters much lately as almost all activities have some type of negative cap. Besides plowing through patrols, I don't see a huge difference anymore. I guess end-game master raids? ( I only do normal for raids)...

I’ve been hardstuck 2000 power level for weeks now.

1 RespuestaI agree, they need to have some kind of bad luck protection.

Yes bungie is taking a -blam!- in us and just squeezing playtime. I've heard they have dev guns where u can just switch perks from all the perk pool
