EDIT: I got to 12 gambit resets, prestige x 12. Still didn't the good perks. I am officially done with grinding anything now, I am burnt out. Time for a break to play other games.
I'm all for hunting loot and grinding for it. I'm completely against blatantly holding back desirable loot and perks to populate playlists.
I have prestige x 10 with Gambit already, I have focused every single engram on Bygones. Literal hundreds of Bygones and not a single one with my desired perks of Zen Moment + Kinetic Tremors, how is this even possible. I've had the perks seperately, but not once together. After Prestige x 4 even getting a chance at 6 trait perks... still nothing.
The same happened to me couple seasons ago with Wild Style GL.... 28 Vanguard Prestiges to get one with Blinding + Incandescent.
Improve focusing or attunement accross the board, or at the very least give all perks the same chance to drop.

5 RespuestasBro you only have a 1/144 chance of getting a specific roll on Bygones lol its a deep perk pool
-
All drops weighted to inflate play time? Only if you're a person of weak mind that needs to chase digital rewards to feel rewarded instead of simply playing games for fun and entertainment.
-
2 RespuestasIt likely is weighted, but they will never admit that.

Editado por MARS (Adept): 10/25/2024 6:01:19 PMThat’s like saying Bungie would throttle XP….just crazy. https://youtu.be/fnZ7zDsk0Es?si=gYTVhoG1bC0dDhyL https://x.com/destiny2team/status/1849550490004283811?s=61&t=0l1az1Y3pffe_9iCd5o59w

28 RespuestasEditado por Dredgen Truth: 10/25/2024 9:25:33 PMThere is, in fact, no weighting on the perks of legendary weapons. You are just getting unlucky. Edit: Yes, I know already. You don't need to keep telling me guys. I still disagree with OP though, all evidence suggests that it's unintentional, and you guys cherrypicking the few guns where god rolls are weighted against and ignoring the ones where god rolls were made more common are just falling to cynicism.

I have 40 gambit resets and only dredgen gild 4x and haven't seriously done gambit in close to 2 years truly I went trying to farm bygones I got 18 engrams almost ready to gild and not a single respectable pvp roll and when I say I got so many repeat perks over and over am not lying .... trying to play trials 3 games In hour due to queue match making wait times won 1 of 3. I refuse to get farmed for others to enjoy their day when I am in some type of coded pool that isn't proving "inclusivity" (lol).... try to get serious about pve and you get bottom of the barrel trash tier team mates that are just socially inept and they literally have the worst of manners try to do things thru lfg no mic and you get endless quitters lol.... try to solo anything and the effort and time wasted makes it not worth it. I used to go flawless solo queue 2 to 3 times a season as a casual pvper now I can't ever get past 3 wins... I tried to get on hype train and go comp and I am bait for cheaters and doxxers. Try having a grown up conversation on the forums and you have fragile feelings and moderators that try to keep peace by flexing their suspensions if they don't like your style. Try reaching bungie on social media with hundreds of ideas from all over they come back with a slap to the face by collaborating with steamers ... yet we the masses are paying for that ... I like the game but I've lost the spark. Beta d1 so am just fed up.

2 RespuestasWhat would happen if people spammed the game and got everything desirable in the first two days it came out and then there was no one to matchmake with for the people that didn't get out of the gates fast enough?
-
28 RespuestasIt’s been 10 years and you kids still don’t know what the word “random” means. Some people never learn I guess.
-
2 RespuestasTRUEEEE, if i don't drop the perfect roll the first time bungie is weighted the perks drop

4 RespuestasEditado por NotCreative123: 10/23/2024 3:57:49 PMI would love to see ACTUAL DATA on this, because it is interesting. I suspect the perks are all evenly weighted, and you have simply gotten unlucky. If you do the math, the odds of getting a "perfect" weapon are very, very small. Bayes Theorem dictates the probability of a set of independent events happening. The equation is as follows: x=number of perks you want in that column y=number of perks total (per column) x1/y1*x2/y2*...xn/yn = probability of getting x1, x2, ... xn perks on a weapon. So, if you want 1 barrel of 7 options, 1 mag of 8 options, 1 perk of 10 options, 1 perk of 12 options, and 1 Masterwork of 4 options, the odds of getting your perfect roll are: 1/7*1/8*1/10*1/12*1/4 * 100% = 0.0037% And on top of that, you have the probability of the weapon even dropping in the first place!!!

1 RespuestaI don’t think people understand…. There nothing about this game that is true RNG, it can’t be. The question is what does it mean for your drops. Also… to everyone farming VS Chill I’ll say this. It’s irrelevant with the tonic this season. Wait to make sure they don’t nerf BnS next season before you farm

What if this carried over to lobby balancing 🤯
-
Your first issue was playing Gambit on purpose.

Guys have a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnZ7zDsk0Es

1 RespuestaThey should be required to post the loot tables and drop rates for each activity. Then at least we would know if we have bad luck.
-
Most perk combinations that we find in the combo sheet are garbage. People wouldn't care if it wasn't for the very few times a good perk roll ended up there.
-
Editado por Smudger: 10/24/2024 5:04:06 PMLast week, my rng was ok this week it's diabolical. I've just had 3 pinnacles and 2 power energy weapons in a row. Make that 4 energy pinnacles now out of my last 5.
-
2 RespuestasThis is why crafting should just be for everything.

2 RespuestasFor all the times I've had RNG screw me, there are just as many times that I've gotten exactly what I wanted first drop. Humans have negativity bias, that is a proven fact. Random means you can drop the same roll 100 times in a row. When you flip a coin it always has a 50/50 chance, the coin doesn't remember. Using the OP's example of Bygones: that gun has 12 possible traits in columns 3 & 12 possible traits in column 4 which means dropping the exact combo of two that you want has odds of 143-1. That's 143-1 EVERY SINGLE TIME you focus an engram. When you lose a 143-1 bet you have no right to be annoyed.

3 Respuestas
I have prestige x 10 with Gambit already.
Bro 😂

Just odds & luck, someone else will have that roll on their first drop… i get that it feels bad when you want something really specific but worth trying something you do get when it doesn’t drop, if for PvE kinetic trem w/ demo/shoot to loot is better anyway, might find something you love more 👍
-
I got a god roll of the dungeon area denial frame gl on my first run of the first encounter so clearly the game is weighted towards giving me all the good rolls and you all the bad rolls
-
Weapon crafting looking pretty good right now I bet.
-
22 RespuestasI agree with that especially VS chill inhibitor the new Heavy GL from Dungeon. I stopped farming after like more than 100+ runs… maybe close to 200… It is weighted definitely regardless of what Bungie says cuz you can never see the underlying codes.. some specific perks are outright unattainable..watch the video https://youtube.com/shorts/kO1dPb8gxUw?si=i1YayeDVOnpzMnp2

3 RespuestasOf course it's all rigged. Absolute proof of this is the new dungeon. If you complete various triumphs, the drop rate of the Icebreaker increases ( or is supposed to). Natural RNG CANNOT be weighted or modified in any way. As soon as an advantage is applied, it is no longer RNG.
