They made a terrible mistake locking the exotic class items behind a forced two player quest.
They heavily advertised the class items and they also made incredibly strong and fun just to lock them behind an activity not everyone can do.
Plain unfun, devs are deaf to common opinion.

“Not everyone can do” Don’t kid yourself. Everyone can do the activity. It’s not like it’s locked behind a paywall with the exception that it’s apart of an expansion. Everyone has the ability to do it. Not everyone is WILLING to do it. Stark difference. Now, all you have to do is play the mission three times. Once per character. You can then grind it to your hearts content with both Xur and Overthrow being two sources of the Class Item. This, now paired with the Class Item Focus allows you to target farm to a relatively easy degree, and since you can buy nearly 2 per Max Stacks of Strange Coins, you can farm that weekend they are available quite easily. Mind you, use the Favor of the Nine buff to get extra Strange Coins. TL:DR, Bungie allowed Solo players ample opportunity to earn the exotic through relatively easy means, even if they have to play a single Activity that is not all that hard 3 times.

If you're not willing, you don't get the reward. Simple.

You didn’t read my comment you just wanted to disagree, read it again.
-
I’ve read it over and don’t see the issue with my comment. Enlighten me.
-
Not everyone can do the mission due to a number of things including disabilities.
-
You are saying an activity is bad because a microscopic portion of the community is physically unable to game, let alone play a singular mission, whose only hurdle is communication. And communication that does not require a mic. I mean, that just sounds insane to me. Genuinely crazy. You can’t design a game for everyone. The best you can do is give access points, and if a person is unable or otherwise unwilling to play an activity, that’s not the game designers fault. They can’t just make a game that benefits a specific group at the detriment of the general audience.
-
You don’t get it do you? The issue isn’t just accessibility it’s the fact that they heavily advertised the exotic class items just to lock them ourselves behind a secret quest that not everyone can do. I know friends that can do it but I can never find the time to help them or they just give up half way because it’s too tedious. I’m not saying they should give them out for free but they should make them easier to get, specially with how difficult it is to get the right roll.
-
They have implemented the correct changes as to remove the tedious grind. It’s roughly a 1 in 16 chance to get the role you want now. As for the mission being too tedious, that’s a matter of opinion. The start can be a bit slow and boring, but otherwise the mission is fun. None of the mechanics are all that hard nor do they take to long once you know the names and just general lateout of the mission. This, paired with the fact that the mission, at most will take 30 minutes. It’s usually much shorter. Finding the time to do the activity is not the activities fault. It’s your own fault. Plus, your friends have Fireteam Finder and LFG services, so not being able to find a teammate is their own fault. And don’t give me the bullcrap of “they heavily advertised it”. They also heavily advertise raids and dungeons, and those aren’t Soloable or solo friendly activities. Do you think that the only content that is advertised should be Soloable? Is that really what you think? And as for the whole “there has been no other exotic armor piece that is behind a multiplayer activity” argument, again, that’s bullcrap. There has never been an Exotic Class item that fuses two different perks. Any and all arguments made against the activity are dumb. Be honest with me and be honest with yourself. You just don’t like playing with other people and you don’t like playing the activity. You don’t deserve the exotic if you don’t play.

Why can't everyone do dual destiny?
-
There’s people with particular impairments and disabilities, also it’s a hidden quest. You need someone to show you how and to direct you,you also need to find someone who wants to do it with you,not just that there’s no matchmaking for it.
-
It's weird that the things you list as why some can't do it are actually not reasons why at all. There's this great new thing that was just created recently called text chat. Oh wait, that's right. That's not new at all. Let's also be honest. The majority of those who still haven't done it yet are those who spent months crying about it instead of just doing like everyone else. You do also understand that bungie isn't required to make all content completable for everyone, right? It's almost like that's how video games work.
-
Text chat is only good on PC,and if not mistaken at least half of the players are on console.
-
You can still use it on console. Claiming they can't do something when there are ways to do it is just people trying to make excuses for why they really don't want to do it. We all know that those who are actually claiming they can't do it are a majority of the people who made the choice not to do it because you have to communicate with 1 person.
-
It’s way slower on console baby girl.
-
Editado por Salty-47: 10/22/2024 12:49:31 AMFirst, stop calling people baby girl. Especially when you're the one crying. Second, it doesn't matter if it's slow or not. Don't claim something can't be done when it can

What do you mean who?
-
-
Editado por Salty-47: 10/22/2024 8:09:07 PMWell, I'd say clearly you, seeing as how you're crying about something that isn't true. So emotional that you couldn't finish 1 question in 1 post.
-
-
Is this your new tactic? Just going to keep repeating yourself sense you can't give a good reason why your point would make any sense.
-
I gave you reasons you’re just a broken record.
-
You gave 1 reason. The reason you gave was basically that console can't use text chat. I proved you wrong, so then you just kept deflecting and running away. You can try to hide from facts all you want, but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
-
•console chat is terrible •there’s people with disabilities -dyslexia -muteness -deafness -etc •the quest is secret These things wouldn’t really be as much of an issue if bungie didn’t straight up advertise the hell out of the class items, they made seem like they would be a campaign reward or something of the sort but no,they tied a convoluted secret quest to it where by the end of it you have to treat it like a mini raid. If you ask me it’s ridiculous,I’ve been having my class item and I found the final mission for it fun but it doesn’t erase the fact that it was a terrible choice on bungie.
-
Editado por Salty-47: 10/23/2024 9:19:20 PMNot once did they advertise that it would be a campaign reward, nor did they ever advertise that it would be obtainable solo. The disabilities you listed don't prevent anyone from completing the mission. It can still be done with any of those issues. The only disability that prevents anyone from actually completing it would be if someone is blind and if they are, I don't understand why they would be playing a videogame in the first place. Also, the quest is so secret that everyone knows how to get the mission and how to do it or can look up a video on how to do it. And in what way do you have to treat it like a raid? There's no darkness zones, the mechanics require the most basic knowledge of a clock and either the names for symbols or the basic ability to describe them well enough. And before you even mention the timer, you get far more than enough time to do all of it even with using text chat.
