GRASP & PIT Weapons Have Fallen Behind.

An origin perk & new rolls would go along way for these payed dungeon weapons to keep them relevant (Prophet power crept Matador etc etc) 😊👍

  • Idk if they're adding new origin traits but bungie is updating dungeons and raids with new loot so they'll probably update the current perks as well.

    Pit of Heresy (and Shattered Throne, to the same extent) badly needs new loot, the only real thing to chase there is the Ship for the achievement, a decent Pulse Rifle that is mostly power-crept, and a single high stat piece of Dreambane armor per week. All others (Slug Shotgun, Sniper, Rocket Launcher, and armor) are easily farmed from the Patrol areas, so doesn't make much sense to run the Dungeon otherwise. What I would like to see is a complete refresh of the loot from an entire armor set, potentially old "spacewalk" suits from the ruined First Light facility that you see on the dead astronauts around the area, possibly with that theme of Nightmare energy/red and black smoke leaking out. Then in accordance with the current state of the Dungeons have four proper weapons based on the missing archetypes of the Aeronautics of China weapons such as a Scout Rifle, Bow, Breechloading Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Glaive, Sidearm, etc. A Master mode at that point would be great as well, so that the original doesn't change the encounters but adds more to do for end-game players and Artifice Armor to chase.

    • Not just those but a lot of existing weapons badly need refreshes. Like both sets of moon weapons, the Europa Weapons, VoG weapons (which in hoping is coming next season) Dreaming city weapons need a patch so they can be enhanced. If they could dedicate a small team for this, I’d love it since it would give me a reason to spend time on the moon, Europa and dreaming city again

    • The dungeons and raids along with vendors need a yearly refresh. It's ridiculous that they don't. Instead they leave dungeons as dead content for years before they get a refresh, then wonder why nobody plays them. I quit playing after lightfall. If i came back tomorrow there is zero reason for me to even consider buying a dungeon except the newest because everything in all the dungeons that I've missed up to this point have been power crept out of usefulness. Then give it 6-8 months and the new dungeon gear will be garbage compared to basic seasonal weapons. Also dungeons and raids need such unique perks and perk combos that they are always useful if you're going long periods without updating their loot. For example certain raid weapons from Last Wish and GoS used to be able to drop with double damage perks. After their loot pool refresh idk if they still do but having double damage perks on fusions and autos made them extremely viable for a long time, but that was also before crafting. Post crafting idk if that's viable anymore unless those crazy perk combos were random roll only. Which would be fine. It would be like Curated Rolls all over again

        • Big facts, my Eyasluna isn’t worth using when we have Austringer. Just give us some barrels on it instead of scopes, and an origin trait. I’d like to see something like this: [b]Loot Hoarder:[/b] Picking up ammo grants increased accuracy and handling. Stacks 3 times.
