That’s incorrect. Destiny 2 is a PvP game, and wouldn’t exist without it.
No, it's a PvE game and it's why PvP was Neglected for years, with no new added content added to it, and it's why 90% of the content designed in this game is PvE content.
No where does is say it's a PvP game when buying DLC content. Not even the cover of Destiny 1 or 2 says it is when we bought the base games.
No, it's a PvE game and it's why PvP was Neglected for years, with no new added content added to it, and it's why 90% of the content designed in this game is PvE content.
Which is exactly why it’s in the place it’s at. The Golden Age of D2 was Forsaken, where all the focus was on PvP and there was very little added to PvE.
-
Forsaken saw the launch of Gambit, a primarily PvE activity with slight PvP, it also saw the start of seasons which were all PvE focused. While PvP did get support through pinnacle weapons and a few maps, PvE saw far more content and support. Destiny has always been a PvE driven and focused game with PvP being an additive for a select group of people.
-
That “select group of people” is the most profitable. Look at what’s happened. They just stick around and buy the expansion, no questions asked. They are neglected for years, with no maps released in literally 6 years. Yet, they stay around, play, buy Silver, and throw money at the screen. PvE players have to play the same repetitive content every day. After 2 months, they’re bored with it and need new stuff. PvP players could play the same map over and over again and not get tired. They are the cheapest investment and they ask for very little.
-
No, they are not the most profitable as PvP is almost entirely free to play. The only content that requires purchase is Trials as it comes with the latest expansion every year. PvP is a smaller group of people regardless with the biggest spenders usually being the streamers who buy the cosmetics and the most expensive versions of every expansion and game release. While yes the majority of earnings come from the smaller percentage of players that does not automatically mean that because PvP is a small population that it must be the largest income source. Most hardcore players are not PvP players which is why PvE numbers keep while PvP numbers continue to dwindle especially in Trials (you know, the only none F2P mode). The playerbase that would be spending the most would be the raiding players due to constant purchase of expansions, seasons, dungeons and cosmetics. While there are those in that 10-12% range that are PvP players the majority of that small hardcore section are not. You need to understand that this game is not funded by PvP, PvP is the only section that is almost entirely available to F2P players. Youre seriously delusional and need psychiatric help.
-
Dude I can’t argue with you any more. You’re set in your stupidity.
-
Youre the delusional and idiotic fool who doesnt understand a thing about this game. You didnt before during your Titan rant phase and its clear you havent learnt a thing since. You need to stop projecting. Just because you lack brain cells and the ability to learn doesnt mean everyone else is as dumb.
-
It doesn't matter what you think it is or where you've seen things headed. The developer does not call Destiny a PvP game🤷♂️ Not even if you do a Google search will it say it's a PvP game. So you are incorrect for saying it is.
-
And yet there’s only a handful of PvE youtubers because it’s so boring and unwatchable. D2 is known for PvP and it is the only replayable part of this game. It would die without it.
-
The majority of D2 streamers and youtubers are raiders.
-
Uh highly doubt that where did you even get this from ?
-
I actually watch a lot of streamers. All the big ones minus a few are raiders with most streaming day 1s and other raid and PvE content. Obviously there are those that focus on PvP streaming such as GernaderJake. Theres a group that are mixed, that mixed group also tends to focus on PvE activities rather than PvP. I cant talk about the small streamers however but they have little to no impact when it comes to this game and what its known for. Most people know Destiny from its raids, not its PvP. PvP will always appeal to a smaller group than PvE.

Editado por iidaptive: 9/17/2024 11:13:29 PMOfc you only name gjake lol 😂 think you watch a lot of streamers and just name him the literal biggest Yea streaming day 1s? How often tf do u think that happens lol. Only ppl that consistently do PVE on twitch I can think of are Cammy, datto, sweat, leopard used to , and salt who also streams Pvp content. Ofc I’m missing some I don’t play PVE really but I can name 5x that rn for Pvp streamers
-
Did you just try to use YouTubers to say it is, the people that flip flop on a drop of a dime 🤣
-
Yeah thats why im just ignoring the rest of the ignorant bs he has to say. He claims he's been around for years, yet his profile clearly states he started in 2022. Unless this is simply another of his accounts.... Calling a game thats 95% pve content at least a pvp game is moronic at best.
