I think all the complaints just exemplify why matchmaking that prioritizes connection is so crucial.
I think back to HoW or just before when everything felt so crisp. I mean sure, you’d get wrecked in seconds if you didn’t know how to play but to me that’s justified. You stick with it a bit, learn how to hold your own, and progress. You’d come across “pvp pro’s” that would squash you, but shouldn’t they? There was a satisfaction in getting better, acquiring skills, then using those skills on others. It’s how you learned.
I remember going back and forth with opposing players trading kills and laughing so hard only to have us each send gg’s as soon as the match ended and then send friend requests.
To me it’s possible to be beat by skill and be ok with it. It’s natural. What isn’t ok is having horrible connections just so I can play opponents the same skill as me who just happen to be from South America and Europe in the same match.
I understand without dedicated servers you can’t have it all, but at least make it the best you can.

Believe me when i say that something has chamged. This is not the same sbmm from previous season. They changed something. Maybe the way of selection or some parameter. I don't know. Sometimes it seems like play one of the trial' sweatiest match but 6 vs 6, with some player not doing any damage lol. Cbmm could be better only if Bungie invests money on their servers. Unforrunately, this will never happen.
