I find it monumentally annoying that there’s always some low IQ blueberry who is hell-bent on sabotaging a Heroic public event. If he wants to do that, great! He and everyone else who doesn’t care can queue into the social planet. I, on the other hand, will happily go in there alone where I can complete patrols and public events without some a-hole blueberry following you trying to steal your kills or melting a spider tank in seconds before you can put one orb in.

1 RespuestaAs an “option”…fine. And then give an “option” for the Pale Heart to be a random patrol area too. I happen to like randoms in a patrol area. There was a time when I got upset when players couldn’t get a public event heroic. Then, when I realized what little benefit there really was, I just rolled with it. I always try to get an event heroic, but if it doesn’t…I just head to the next one or knock off some bounties. Maybe I am in the minority, but I have found far more helpful randoms than annoying ones in patrol areas.

1 RespuestaPlease don't. Pale Heart is already awful because of this. They are called patrol zones for a reason. It's a Multiplayer game ffs.

OP: erm, it isn’t just New Lights or blueberries that crash those public events; quite often, it’s impatient higher level ‘hares’ (speedsters) 🤡 who deliberately blast away and then zoom off… FWIW: this old tortoise nearly always tries to turn a public event heroic - especially if NLs are present. Doesn’t always work, though I do try! 😐 Ease Springs! 🫡

Try turning off cross play.

I think the problem with that would be server space if they made every destination single player
-
You know what would happen if Bungie implemented this already. They've done this with Trials and Gambit before with solo-queuing just for them to revert the update/life-improvements so that there was enough player count in the matchmaking queue. They won't be listening to solo-anything

1 RespuestaHonestly, if you want to play a game solo go play an exclusively single player game. Video games are supposed to be fun and typically more fun is hat with more people. I seem to remember the days when you’d have a dozen people playing btb on Halo and just bullshitting around because they could, it was fun. Why don’t you want that now?
-
1 RespuestaI’d honestly flock back to this game if all the destinations were soloable.

Editado por DOCTORWHO-LEGACY: 9/7/2024 3:53:23 AMIn terms of public events I agree with U about it being sabotaged
-
4 RespuestasYou can do that yourself. Yes, it would be nice to be an in game feature but if you want to play strikes or load into patrol areas solo then you have the tools to do so

4 RespuestasEditado por jhermannITJ: 9/6/2024 4:28:31 AMI want public zones. Imo, part of the issue I have with the FS is this.... However, I also agree... zones need an overhaul in the spirit of the Pale heart. Early game needs help... the game needs proper sidebar. As simple as Fishing was... some people loved it. It needed to be developed. People have been asking for SRLs return since it left. So, that's extra... Now, let's talk about the come up. It's so bad. One of my biggest critiques of my favorite game of all time is it takes on average, 7-14hrs to get out of the tutorial for the Witcher 3. And that prevents, to this day as lauded as the game is, many from really understanding how amazing that game is. What's D2? As a brand-new player? This isn't WoW btw, not yet... D2 is a baby mmorpg in comparison... a decade younger, but in respect to complexities too. Yet it still takes 50-100 hrs to really get a solid base in this game. With no good early game to make that time commitment tolerable. So new players are forced to tread water for 50-100 hrs... until the game really starts to get good. And a lot of that come up... is gear, but a lot of it is obtuse knowledge where there's no directly sponsored portal by Bungie to learn that information. If attrition through experience is to be the primary philosophy behind player progression and growth... you need GOOD early game and sidebar to keep players engaged while they're learning. D2 is such a trial by fire for new players... you get a campaign for 6-8hrs... then the game says, "Good Luck"! That's rough. That needs to change.

Easy to do yourself, I quite often i do pathfinder on my own far easier.

6 RespuestasI have a funny video where I was recording Taken Blight tutorial and a blueberry shows up at the end to heal it and I'm trying to take it out with no special ammo while also trying to support them when they die. I activated the heroic and then they cancelled it during its activation. Good times.
