Tbh the dual destiny mission could be looked at like the pinnacle solo activity in a social game. You had to find one other person to play it with and then you get them from the solo destination. Its kind of like the way you could get all the seasonal seals solo except for them usually having one part where you had to go on lfg and do something, usually without needing a mic.
This time you just needed a mic and one other person, but the mission also didn't feature any of the artificial difficulty stuffs that most modes have so that people that are just bad in general have others forced into being their "peers" so they'll keep playing. And also so some people that are "good" can get a really inflated sense of how important they are to the game like this one guy I was talking to on here yesterday.

Never wanted a mic. Not buying one to complete one silly content.
-
You can buy the cell phone ones at a convenience store for 5 dolla.
-
Never wanted to is completely different from not having the funds to purchase one. Are you slow or 12 years old?

I'm starting to see why you have trouble getting people to play the game with you though. Are you afraid you might choke yourself? They make wireless ones for that problem, but they cost than 5 dolla.
