You need to do it one time and it unlocks as a drop in the patrol zones. Is it really that bad? That you have to do a multiplayer activity, in a game that takes inspiration from MMOs?

Then it should be designed as a MMO matchmade multiplayer activity. Most players don't want to be forced to play one way and especially don't want to be forced to chat and game with randoms that they have to arrange themselves via FTF. So it's not simply a multiplayer in a multiplayer game, it's the above. And it was fully avoidable and would have been enjoyable for far more players had they not been on a friend referral sales drive.
-
And the fact that it's advertised as a multiplayer game. It doesn't make sense how some people are 10 years it the whole thing and still haven't figured out the part of you have to play with other people to get everything.
-
Multiplayer doesn't mean no matchmaking, doesn't mean premade fireteams only, doesn't mean mic-based and required. It's the chat with randoms being forced complained of not that it's multiplayer. It's also explicitly advertised as being for soloplaying too: enjoy the game alone or with friends.
-
Well first your not forced to play with randoms. If you're being forced to play with randoms, that's kind of on you for not having any friends to play with. Now, the thing of it being advertised as being able to do everything solo. When and where has there ever been any part of the game advertised that way. I'm like 99% sure every single trailer for the game always has 3 to 6 people in the trailer, depending on what's being shown. Then there's the fact that in the 10 years of d1 and d2, when has there ever been a 100% solo version of the whole game. Oh, that's right, there hasn't been anything that's advertised the game that way, so this isn't something new or something that's just been changed, so why is now suddenly a problem.
-
So that's implied and obvious: what's complained of is you're forced to chat and play with randoms if you dont have actual friends whove paid for Destiny 2, it's DLC. So for this complain the question, yes, you're forced. Its advertised TO THIS DAY as a game to enjoy alone or with friends. See its product description. But do note what i said: this should have been made and designed for mutiplayer matchmaking, without mic required. Preferably, it should have been soloable too - because players do want to do BOTH. The key issue is it was NEITHER of those - neither designed for MMO matchmaking NOR soloable and mic required. Only Raids have previously done this. So yes that is "new" or a more or less unprecedented extension and made WORSE because of the importance and range of all these Class exotics for buildcrafting across PvE and PvP. No one is asking for "solo version" of the game: make it for multiplayer matchmaking, so its enjoyed FAR more and BY far more players. Also make it for soloplaying too - no reason not to but that's ESPECIALLY important if they dont make it for MP matchmaking.

Editado por Salty-47: 7/17/2024 8:55:07 PMAs I said, the game has never been intended to be played solo 100% of the time. Second, it's literally in the name dual destiny that it has to be done with someone else, so there shouldn't be a way to do it solo. Third, the class items are definitely not required for anything in the game. All they do is give you a different option of build crafting, but they aren't required to play the game. The mission was designed for communication, which usually does go hand and hand in a multiplayer game with mechanics involved, so having match making for it won't help either because your always going to get the people who would start it without a form of communication. The whole point of the matter is that no solo player is being excluded for their choice not to do it. There is no reason for bungie to change something working the intended way that anyone who paid for the dlc can do. If you make the choice not to do it, then don't come and cry or complain to get it changed just because of that choice. Nothing in life is fair, so don't expect it to be.

Editado por Artisan: 7/18/2024 10:16:52 AMNever said it was not that that alone was important and the name of course is irrelevant. All the exotic Class items for all 3 Classes certainly are important and key to some of the best builds in the game. They shouldn't have been paired to an activity that has no matchmaking and no soloplaying either, and forces chatting with randoms - highly unpopular - for the many who don't have friends paid up with Bungie. It would need to be DESIGNED for multiplayer MMO matchmaking and DESIGNED not to require mics. No soloplayers can do Dual Destiny it's impossible. Saying it's their choice to be soloplayers is literally stupid and irrelevant. Most players do not enjoy chatting with randoms - and no "choice" comes into that. The only actual choice is how Bungie designs and limits games self-servingly. The game should be made for the players and for more players to enjoy the game far more. It was greedy, unnecessary, bad design, limiting, made not enjoyable for many and many have taken to every form of social media to make that complaint unrelentingly loud and clear. When something is unfair in life, you can conform, cower, go with the herd, keep quiet and bend over...or you can stand up, take a stance, refuse to be silenced, and expose and undermine that fairness. When you do the latter the former will attack you and tell you are "crying" from their compliance and cowardice. It's always the same and always the same language.

The name of the mission isn't irrelevant. It literally tells you to play with someone else. Solo players aren't locked out of it. There's enough so-called solo players that they can just join each other or any of the countless people offering to help do it and just do it. If it's unfair to play the game the intended way, then how long until it's unfair that raid and dungeon loot only drops from raids and dungeons. Now, to point out that the so-called solo players aren't actual solo players. Unless all you do is the stuff in the game that doesn't have matchmaking and can be loaded into without other people, then guess what? You're not a solo player. You just solo queue. And to point again, nothing in life is ever going to be fair to everyone and can't include everyone, so should probably just learn that by now and deal with it. Don't try to change things that work the way they are intended just because of you and the other people making the choice not to do it when it's not even a real problem.
