The new titan super with stareater does more damage than a celestial shot.

  • Wow so that and strand do alot of damage meanwhile we have havoc and missile that are both poor supers and a waste of time.

  • And Star Eater Nova does more than that. The most fun I had this expansion was on a warlock or a hunter with celestial. Also let’s not forget still hunt+ celestial exists.

Still hunt celestial is still cooler imo

  • In burst, medium, or sustained damage. From my understanding, one would think that Celestial would be king of Burst, especially with plate rotations witch don’t support sustained damage, but have decently long damage phases (thus why rockets are better in said encounters despite Linears being more ammo efficient) I guess Euphony would get the bonus from the Threadlings spawned by Needlestorm, thus pushing its damage right into the Heavy Range. Does the stacks remain between swaps, because if not, you would want to blow your load with the heavies, then switch to Euphony and use Needlestorm. Ps. My knowledge on Euphony is very bare minimum. I know what it does, but I don’t know the numbers.

The best use with it seems to be in a single weapon rotation as opposed to multi weapon damage rotations. I do know that it is one of the best damage rotations in the game, possibly the best for single weapon damage rotations, especially with it being a special weapon. A well made raid exotic.

  • Yeah so for general play the void axes might be better but for boss damage there is a clear winner. Also is the axes a 30 % weaken ?

For total damage and ease of use, the axes come out on top. 15% weaken. Only tether and tractor are 30%.

  • 15 %weaken sucks so in a team seettng it loses out on the utility of being able to debuff.

It isn’t going to be a higher debuff than tether when it does significantly more damage. The super has very good damage even without counting the damage dealt using the relics.

  • What numbers do you have? Last I checked TA is 620K while nova is 746k (no artefact perks, just 6x SES)

  • Just the throwing axes because in content where it matters you’re not going to get the chance to pick up the axes and do further damage, also those new axes aren’t buffed by SES. It’s a step in a good direction but when you factor in all the buffs and debuffs you can get that 120k dmg difference turns into A LOT. Which is why I advocate for a one and done super and back to dos rotation, just like on hunter, pop still hunt pop gg, shoot shoot, back to rotation. Out of ammo? Use your class ability. On a titan and out of ammo? Use your barricade and….. wait.

On a titan and out of ammo? Use your barricade and….. wait.[/quote] The damage of the throw is very high and it has relics that spawn which can be used to further deal damage. It’s extremely good. Titan rally barricade buffs reload, range and stability while blocking damage. It is not meant to function the same as a dodge. They’re different abilities on different classes.

  • The reload from rally barricade is nice qol but it lacks instant reload options like Icarus dash rain of fire or rdms That being said you could use grapple reloading if you are willing to sacrifice a damage super like the void axes or T crash or pyrogale.

That’s going to be especially true with the rolls on the new version of the nightfall GL coming later this season. If you’re going just abilities, titan ability damage remains the highest, with them also having multiple of the highest total damage supers. Different classes are going to function differently. It’s the most basic rule of having different classes. Titans are the best at close range damage, but they’re not incapable of dealing good ranged damage. The reverse is also true.

    If they nerf that interaction it’s going to hit the grapple melee spam rather than the stylish executioner damage boost. Which also hits Titans.
