WORKED FOR ME:
If you had the servitor in the Blooming as your final boss and lost all of your motes, try running against the inside of the wall of the boss arena. Me and my friend had this issue and were running around and found it. Facing the boss room it was the back right wall for us.

This just worked for me. Went back to the blooming with 16/17 motes. When I killed the servitor boss nothing dropped from the main chest, however I ran along the entire circle of the walls and eventually got the pick up. On further investigation with the wall there was a little loot chest handle sticking out of it.
