Rude Messages
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but those of us who play trials to just be canon fodder (aka the people who suck) do not need all the rude messages after the game. I play this mode to try and get some trials guns, because even as a pve player I find that some of the trials guns are legit. And it always irritates me to open a message post game to be told that I suck, I should delete the game, and my personal favorite, kill myself.

When we see it we'll hand out appropriate punishment, but in the meantime you can also block the user sending it to you through their profile page. If you are receiving these through the in-game chat then you can report them in-game for "abusive chat". Bungie handles those. If you are receiving these through the platform you're playing on (Xbox, Playstation, etc...) then report them there. I'm pretty sure there's an option to block them as well so I would recommend that, too. I'm sorry you have to deal with that nonsense. :(

Just change your settings to friends only and remember that people that do that generally are miserable in general.

This forum is the same way, it has a bunch of children always trying to trigger someone for having a different opinion and trying to pretend they are "better than". The odd thing here is though, if I'm correct you've been playing this game for 9 years and have always had the options given to you by this developer to do something about it. The question stands, why haven't you? This is where people like me get the attention from the real problem on this forum, the people you are talking about. They think they can shut people down for pointing out the truth, and the truth is you allowed this to happen to you because you did nothing about it. 9 years and you couldn't figure out how to use the options given to you by this developer?

I have messages & chat turned off, if anyone wants to message me they have to be a friend, highly recommend it, keeps the toxicity to an island of one & you can go about enjoying the game 👍

Either ignore it, or be funny about it. They are looking for a reaction, when they get it it just reinforces their behaviour. I had a guy tell me to foxtrot oscar. I responded with "Sorry, I don't do requests." The best thing to do is just ignore it though. Some people in life are just after attention. Doesn't matter if it's good or bad just as long as they are the centre of attention. That's the whole reason Tik Tok exists. Either way, move on with a smile and leave them to their misery.

Yeah, I’ve been told to delete the game Multiple times. I’m just there for the engrams and the occasional weapon drop. I just tell them, if the lighthouse is that important, then lfg…

Report them or disable the messages from players that aren't on your friends list.

I completely understand, one day I decided to get the armor set for this season. When I killed this guy with skuburners path (underrated imo) he started t-bagging and proceeded to target me. Then after the game I got several messages from his team. Your not alone guardian.

Just delete it all bud,it’s interaction on the internet and it isn’t going to be solved any time soon. But can you change settings to sort this to only friends??

You don't suck. The servers are trash and people get frustrated so they turn on teammates. If they send nasty-grams just block them.

Report them, change your settings so you don't get messages from randoms, and ignore them above all else. Some people suck at PvP (I know I do) and some people just suck in general. Don't let it drag you down.

Screenshot and report but pls also remember to have on a pvp loadout and actually try. Having 2 teammates that run full on pve loadouts can trigger anyone

They love to take it further and rub it in your face and try and get you upset because these are the kind of people who play PvP so much that they stopped getting enjoyment from winning. They need that extra dopamine that comes with being toxic to the people they beat. Some super strange people out there. That's one of the main reasons I stay away from PvP unless a super worthwhile weapon or armor set appears at which point I prepare myself and turn off whispers etc. The worst thing that can happen is some emoting but that's not the end of the world.

3 RespuestasIf it weren't for us, then the sweat lords would never have easy matches. They should be sending "hey way to stick it out" messages to encourage you to come back. But then again, imagine if the only thing you had in life was talking -blam!- to someone in a video game. I guess I'd rather suck at trials than suck at life that bad.

I'm glad someone had the balls to post this, as it is the elephant in the Trials room. And thanks for making me literally laugh out loud with "and my personal favorite-- kill myself." Dude, those players are unhappy and overwhelmed by hate. They won't listen to any reason. Bottom line-- laugh AT them. Have fun with the hate mail. Do not respond to it-- you can't fix stupid. I can tell by your post that you're a cool dude-- you don't need or want to have approval from the very small portion of the Destiny player base that acts like that. I'm going to estimate that 80%+ of the Destiny player base is actually very nice and helpful.

13 Respuestaspersonally i have beef with the guy that speed runs encounters (which is cool) only to place a rally banner that no one gets to use cus while we are busy catching up at normal speed they go on ahead to start the encounter you lose all of your stacks + the banner just goes to waste the rusher has to then do 3 guardians worth of DPS for them instead of just waiting and not wasting the banner
