What’s up with this community?
I have seen dozens of posts of people complaining about how there are changes needed to be made.Top 10% for NF score and the new Persistence card. I see more and more people begging for a handout when there are other options and getting made when people tell them to just improve if they want that Adept or to get the new skimmer via top 10% and talk about how others need to change it for them. I’m not a no lifer and and busy enough with stuff outside of D2 and still find time to have gotten my top 10 last week and the adept from the passage this weekend. FIX YOURSELVES and don’t ask for them to fix the game for you to just have it easier when you clearly aren’t at the skill level needed Womp Womp

The whole top 10% is not well conceived as that number gradually increases as the week goes on. Instead it should be a set number needed to pass, a highly difficult score to achieve but a fixed score.

5 RespuestasThe community, as it's come to be known, is a collection of fiefdoms carved out by those who take their own little piece of the game to make their own, and they champion their little patch of digital turf as if it were their home and hearth because they've put so much time into this game that they don't want to pull up stakes and move on. That's what's up with this community. This game has never figured out what it was supposed to be, so it's pulled itself into all manner of shapes over the years trying to become. But in chasing sectors of what seemed to be their core at any one time, they've pulled themselves apart. Will they be able to put things back together and cleave to a Final Shape? We will soon find out. People have sounded the death knell for Destiny many times, and have touted Destiny-killing games throughout the past decade. But destiny really does have to get it sorted if they want to continue beyond The Final Shape. My sense is that a number of people have been hanging in there to see how this all ends (at least the main story line). Past that, if Bungie don't right the ship, there will be precious few to work with, or for. Sony better be happy with the new IP. This community won't be able to sustain Sony's purchase.

They believe that they are owed stuff by Bungie as they continue to play the game. Look at trials, it once was the endgame PvP mode now after years of crying instead of making meaningful long lasting changes we have a shell of a mode just so people can get adepts. The Destiny community is unique in that it’s extremely toxic while I definitely dont like Bungie I disagree with a vast majority of the community. It use to be better but idk what happened to make it so bad and toxic. Imo Bungie needs to pick a group and stick with it. A game for everyone is a game for no one and this game is a prime example of that. And after reading the replies you can see, if you criticize the player side they call you “BDF” when in reality you can criticize both sides its not a mutually exclusive thing. But you will see the amount of people hating. Keep in mind they all still play and because of that they feel entitled. Also keep in mind these people have never made a game or managed one a day in their lives. Its like a low level employee telling a high level manager how to do their job because they think they know better.

3 RespuestasThe system is honestly poorly conceived. The "emote before finishing enemies" being so critical to earn score isn't conveyed well, and it's somewhat tedious imo. The requirement being top 10% means it just gets harder and harder to get as the week goes on. People who managed to complete a run immeadiately after reset had a much easier time than people playing on the weekends. I got my top 10% run early in the first week, and by the time Tuesday reset rolled around, I had dropped down to top 20%. The other methods of getting the sparrow are painfully grindy (medals), or a total crapshoot (focussed game mode). Why Bungie wouldn't just gift everyone a cool new hoverboard toy, w no strings attached is beyond me.

To be honest i grinded medals to get the skateboard. But I wish bungie mad it easier for everyone since not everyone lives breaths and play destiny 24/7/365.

Just full blown Willy Wonka, locked away in his factory. Making the best chocolate, with no gripping or backseat diving in his ear.

They just want to waste players time and milk their money. If you cant see that, YOU should fix YOURSELF my guy. Bungie defenders are the absolute worst toxic part of this community. A players skill level isn't apparent until they meet a challenge they can't complete, at which point that level of skill becomes the "no life" skill level. Once an activity has been designated to be a "no life" activity, they suddenly and miraculously have a flood of ideas that revolve around "fixing" the issues present, when in reality it's less about fixing issues, and more about lowering the level of required skill to meet their, appropriate, level of skill.

1 RespuestaIt’s because two things. 1.unfortunately the game is now very repetitive and unrewarding. 2.players love/are addicted to destiny and play without feeling rewarded//happy because of the repetitive tired nature of the game. Most I believe do care so they come here to vent and blow of their frustrations about the game. It’s actually quite healthy really for the venters so I wouldn’t treat it to serious……bungie don’t. My opinion anyway.
