I think it would be cool to see a Destiny Collection of sorts where they actually took the time to port everything into a new Engine and give us the entire story of Destiny 1 and 2 in one game. Heck, I would even argue to make it primarily PvE where they keep Crucible and Trials out of the game and launch that as a separate download akin to WarZone for CoD where you could have a Destiny: The Crucible or something and it is all hyper focused for PvP and the 2 games could utilize the same systems and Vault so that way you can tweak weapons and armor for each sandbox without needing to potentially ruin things for one side of the game. Give the PvP side of things all maps that have been done and have a team constantly working on more stuff for that side of the game to keep PvP happy and have another team that is working on content for the PvE side of things. Whether you make it small or big updates it would allow people to experience the entire story of Destiny and you could tweak bits of how we earn our abilities and everything so it flows with the story. Like unlocking our abilities as we play through Vanilla D1 and changing things up a bit as we go through DLC stories and could be used to explain why we wouldn't immediately start with our class abilities in D1's story vs D2's story. I feel like it would be really cool to see, but I also know this would also be a MASSIVE overdelivery and it isn't like people are necessarily crying out for the older content per say either. Couldn't say that this model would really give them a lot of revenue also since you are mostly just re-creating everything for one cohesive story, but in doing so would give you the freedom to re-work some systems and allow better customization options like reworking the shader system and whatnot. A guy can dream right? lol
