Can we sue bungie? We cant even play the game we spent $140 bucks a year on. It been like this for weeks. Its all over the forums and still no fix. By the time they finally do something, we will have all moved on to other games that actually work. We should ban together and do something about this. Take our money for a product we cant use. Delete the game or fix it bungie.
Yes, there is lots they can do to prevent DDos attacks.
DataDome.
FortiDDoS.
HAProxy.
DDoS Protector.
Arbor Cloud DDoS Protection Services.
Kaspersky DDoS Protection.
Webroot DNS Protection.
Imperva DDoS Protection.
When you buy something at a store, online or in person, do you take it back if it does not work?
Can we sue bungie?
Yeah I stopped right here cause 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

You can try reporting them to the Bureau of Consumer Protection

1 RespuestaIf you're unhappy with the products Bungie produces, then deal with it like an adult - stop playing + purchasing Bungie products. When their sales & player population plummets over multiple seasons (not just the last few weeks of a single season), I promise you Bungie will be falling over themselves to fix this game and regain lost customers. Quit playing. Don't purchase the next DLC. This is the only feedback mega gaming corporations understand.

If it continues and is not usable in any form you could get enough people together for a class action consumer lawsuit .. but it’s finding someone willing to take it on
-
you forgot to mention that also cloudflare offers very good protection. If you go n sue them for malicious practise (you have actualy quite high chance to success in EU), you should wait until its done and see if they offer proper compensation. If they do not, than you have your case and you can begin to gather people. Until than, just wait and document what bungie comunicate with people (emails, official website and forums, twitter isnt official way to comunicate with custommers). Also be sure that you gather people who paid for gametime and game itself and free to play custommers arent entitled for some compensations and it would make your case to fail

37 RespuestasEditado por The Hermit IX: 9/23/2023 11:15:37 PMLet me get this straight. You’re using the forums of the company that you want to start legal action against to encourage others to join in your loony thought process? Because you can’t play a video game atm… I think they should ban you from the game and the forums just for being that entitled. An all new granite level low on the forums. Well done.

Go for it buddy. Tell us how it went

That is an employee talking about the DDOS, in the comments he goes on briefly about the servers aswell. Bungie most likely does have protection but that protection can only do so much, it can protect against what it knows not something completely new. If the perpetrator(s) behind this attack is masking there IP and doing everything they can to hide themselves and keep themselves protected its gonna be much harder to track and deal with (theres a post on here that explains this better than me) How about you do the job and show them how its done given you know the solution?

Unfortunately for people who play the game they agreed to terms and conditions that specifically state there is no guarantee that online services will always be available

The game is $100 annually for the expansion that comes with the season passes and the dungeon key.
Can we sue bungie?
No, you cannot.
Can we sue bungie? We cant even play the game we spent 140 bucks each season on.
You should sue whomever is charging you $140 for a season pass instead.

I mean you can certainly try. I don't think you will get very far. I will be off playing other things and/or doing other stuff until things resolve, as my life doesn't really revolve around playing this game anymore.

Bud, it’s a few days where the servers don’t work. Grow up and move on smh.

Dude… it’s not that serious.

"We cant even play the game we spent 140 bucks each season on." I'm sorry but what the -blam!-? "Its all over the forums and still no fix" What do you want us to do? Bungie barely acknowledges that the forums exist. "Can we sue bungie?" You can certainly try.

Now we are getting unhinged
