Please return the physics of orbs of power back to how they used to be. Ever since Lightfall, orbs physics have been annoyingly whacky. They will dash away from you at 100 MPH on flat surfaces or are continuously moving looking for a cliff to fall off of. Obviously orbs should travel based on varying surfaces but they’ve gotten out of hand in such a way that doesn’t look real but, rather, deliberately tuned to be as uncollectible as possible.

1 RespuestaPlease just stop them from rolling uphill.
-
Bungie class that as new content. Orbs rolling away as designed, to heighten the ‘engagement’ of guardians collecting them.

1 RespuestaEditado por jhermannITJ: 7/15/2023 6:06:05 AMHow 'bout we start with them not running away from you.... no matter the physics they shouldn't be able to travel farther from the point of creation than the mods allow. If the orb's travel distance exceeds those thresholds it invalidates the mods. That's why I don't use attraction mods... they don't work if all the orbs run beyond their capabilities to attract them.... And that's what is going on right now.
-
Definetly changed the physics since builds rely more on orbs now. Make them more difficult and annoying to get to artificially decrease build potency.
-
I bet it was done intentionally because there are too many ways to make a lot of orbs now, and the game would crash if they stayed in place like before. Bungie refuses to admit that D2's game engine is outdated so they figure out ways to make it seem like it works fine.

Editado por BrujaMalvada: 7/16/2023 3:02:36 AMI suspect it shows the enormous "skill" of Bungo devs in trying to implement an ability to have them come toward you... Powerful attraction, or whatever it's called.

1 RespuestaEditado por COMBATICUS: 7/15/2023 11:36:51 PMIt's not just orbs. I forgot the modifier that drops those orbs or w.e it's called that heals you, and was doing an activity and was trying to heal and that thing kept just moon walking away. And the frustrating part , I couldn't catch it, lol. I had to use my super that knocked me back a bit to just make up that distance, lol

Editado por Dauntess: 7/15/2023 7:10:37 PMI noticed it right away. I'd rather have the changes reverted and take away the mod that collects them. It's almost a must have now
-
This applies to ammo bricks as well. I guess they really want you to use that attraction mod
-
2 Respuestasor they could act like void breaches / stasis crystals / etc. and just float in the air. would also be cool if there was a ghost mod that pulled all of those things to you and stacking the mod would increase the radius of the pull
-
3 RespuestasThey took this a little overboard to say the least. I could understand when the orbs are downhill, but come on, in flat surfaces they fly away from you and I even seen them trying to go up ramps and stairs.
-
It rolls over objects I cannot step over. Destiny 2, what else can we annoy the player with?
-
1 RespuestaThey should make them the shape as supremacy drops.. they roll about a foot and just stop. Also orbs seem to be getting smaller and are hard to see in certain terrain
-
They should make them bouncing orbs and make them even harder to get. Sounds like a Bungie thing to do.
-
1 RespuestaSo-called "paracausal powers" that are still affected by mere physics.
-
Well of light also have the same wonky physics.
-
Gud 2 c that it wasn't just muh imagination .
-
Slightest incline and they roll away. I will say the powerful attraction mod does help combat this.
-
I only see them moving when I'm near em. Like we have an invisible aura that repels orbs. I'm not gonna say it's intentional but... Oh wait, yes I am. Bungie thinks they're clever creating a need for a suction mod instead of just adding it for QOL reasons.
