My major problem with this season is the absolute stinginess of the loot, last season we were swimming in defiant engrams to be able to focus, got defiant keys left and right, this season it’s a slog to get any deep engram or salvage / deep dive keys.
I understand it’s a grinding game, and if you gave me a deterministic way to get engrams, (i.e. 1 per legend lost sector, or one key per legend NF) I would have no problem grinding them out.
But when the drops for everything are so pitiful across the board it sucks the air out of the room, and makes you not even want to bother.

I have cashed in over 200 deep engrams they hand em out like free beada at Mardi Gras. So what are you on about?

Can I ask, outside of Dul Incarnu, or Raid farming, where are you regularly getting them from? I find the drop rates horribly inconsistent, if not all together non existent. Run a strike,NF, Gambit, crucible, seasonal activity, legend lost sector etc. you get one, maybe two, then go 3,4,5 runs with nothing (if not more), sure you get them with keys, but those drop infrequently as well.

Honestly I get 1-2 every activity then show up at helm and, go to the desk area by the fishtank and I will have 20-30 a day sitting there to collect from leveling. I am not even sure how there is so many cause I don't do anything special that I know of.

I wish I had that luck, honestly the drops are so poor for me, don’t get me wrong I do get them, just so infrequently even with the seasonal challenges completed. Compared to last season’s Defiant engrams when honestly they were as you said “given out like maradi grad beads” LOL, I still have probably 100 of them left over. Could just be anecdotal on my part, I’m glad it’s at least working out for someone, as I’ve been after a Kinetic Tremors Spare Rations.
