Bungie, how about we “nerf” the server issues?
Been sick of getting kicked out of high end activities due to weasel and anteater errors!

5 RespuestasTo be fair Bungie have already addressed the server issues and that fixing them will entail multiple patches to the new system they implemented in Lightfall. If you’re going to use the forums the least you could do is read the blog posts.

They need servers to test Marathon with. We suffer while they use the Destiny servers to run and test Marathon on. Seems really unfair.

That's overdelivering on their part, can't do that or we'll have expectations so paying would be overdelivering on our side, better stop or they'll have expectations

At the end of the "Ghosts of the Deep" exercise, the chest opens and the weasel makes a mistake. There are no more rewards in the dungeon. They gave the achievement of passing all the bosses. But level 9 didn't close. Did not receive any awards. A small indie studio, what else can I say.

1 RespuestaI just got a 30 min ban because I got babooned during a competitive PvP match. My internet was still fully functional and yet I get the punishment. This game really is a piece of -blam!-.

1 RespuestaI don't know why people keep complaining about the "servers". Bungie doesn't use servers where most other game companies do. They are still using their servers as Player to Player (P2P) connections. Their servers are only made to do the initial connection to the other player. The rest of it falls on your internet and hardware. If Bungie had true dedicated servers like most live service games do now, then you wouldn't have issues. It would probably solve like 95% of getting killed through walls in PvP because of latency. The other 5% is the poor cross-play that we PC players cant opt out of and need to go back to dealing with load times so long I can make a sandwich and do my laundry before I load in.

5 RespuestasWhats crazy is i was just digging through the terms of service for destiny 2 and found that we okayed them not garenteeing us anything really . It states that they are not legally resposible for anything other than giving you the title you paid for thats it . So we literally can do nothing about these issues at all even if bungie said screw d2 tommarrow . And they literally have to do nothing about the issues if they so choose . I would have thought that at least playability would be garenteed for the life span of the game . Guess in the future going forward with games we have all start reading the fine print . If enough people read thia stuff befor buying i better alot of them wouldnt by the games and that would force companies to update the terms of service . Considerong the cost of games and gamingg as a whole now a days i think its high time us gamers had some recourse for the money spent . Gaming is one of the most lucrative busnesses out there and probably one of the worst at protecting the customers they have.

Editado por ADarkUrge: 7/8/2023 6:14:28 PMIt's clearly your internet connection. how do I know this well it's elementary my dear Watson, you see every single error code says it is a problem with YOUR internet connection. it must be true right? there is also the piece where you can be disconnected from the destiny 2 servers but still be connected to xbox live and use it's online only features like messaging, store purchases and xbox parties (Voice group chat with friends.) something you cannot do unless you are still connected to the internet. But yes it is clearly YOUR internet that is the problem.

4 RespuestasIt’s easy to type. What isn’t easy though, is spending millions of dollars to build infrastructure all over the world for a game in its final year. That would just be stupid, and the construction likely wouldn’t even be finished before D2 is over.

Servers are bad. Since yesterday I've had no aim assist, taking double damage being spawned trapped by the game and not replacing quitters makes pvp a complete sht show.

In my humble opinion loot should only drop from chests, and end of activity. Like Lumps of Glimmer instead through the activity. Seeing when you pick up Glimmer it contact that portion of the server that gives rewards and causes bottle necks I read the TWIB is why I know sort of what's up
