I mean, tell me I'm wrong. There ain't nothin wrong with tomatoes, they taste fine, but they do not taste red. Sure, there's things you can do with tomatoes, like make pizza, to make em taste red, but on their own....? Imagine being blindfolded and given a tomato to taste for the first time. No way you'd say it tasted red... No. Way. I know some of y'all'll argue tomatoes DO taste red, but that's only because you're used to red tomatoes. Next time you eat tomato, and I'm not talking bout sauce, or cookies, or muffins, or pizza, just a plain ol' red tomato...by itself, close your eyes and ask yourself, what do I really taste? Cuz, it aint red, I know that much.
