The Golden Rule
Just wanted to remind my fellow guardians of the golden rule. With Iron Banner in full swing it's no wonder that some tempers will flare but remember: Keep it clean.
Dropping feet first into someone's inbox just to harass them doesn't solve anything or yield any positive outcomes.

I had someone send me hate mail after a gambit match once claiming I had cheated. It was my first week playing the game again after a 2 year break, and I was literally running Salvations Grip. Imagine losing to a newb with salvations grip and getting that mad.

Sony hands out harsh suspensions for toxic messaging. It’s the only way to deal with toxic people. Unfortunately trying to be civil and reach out never works. People who feel compelled to send toxic messages have much larger issues than losing an IB match.

I miss the hate mail. To be fair my skills have been a bit out of touch since 2017. (Work and life choices) So now days I’m not good enough to garner such hate. But it was fun.

The golden rule is a failed concept. Do onto others is based on the premise that everyone will want to be treated like you. Better to follow the platinum rule… Treat others as they wish to be treated.✌🏼 Personally I love getting rage mail. I find it entertaining to listen to a guy lose it over a video game.🤣

Unfortunately it happens in every event pvp & pve admittedly pvp more so I’m not much good at pvp too old I was lucky enough for two players carry me in trials they were certainly something to enjoy watching while I was dead I get mail off someone on the other team that to say the least it got blocked but on a positive I also got three nice ones

I know what ur saying bud and quite right. My real frustration with IB is that bungie have changed nothing except reputation rank up with IB. Its the same blowout-filled crap fest with sparse armour drops and the same array of useless weapons that nobody uses. The whole thing is absolutely outrageous and I do sometimes wonder if bungie actually have ears, eyes and brains. They are spitting on their community and loving it. I hate them.
