When playing strikes, it’s all too common to be match made with a random that races through, killing little or nothing along the way; leaving you to struggle hard while they try to spend as little time playing as possible. It makes matches not fun when it happens. So a player report option should be added in PVE to report players that do this. The outcome of such reporting would be up to bungie to decide though. Gotta be something that can be done to keep all members of fireteams equally engaged in the game.

1 RespuestaNon-issue, I'd rather have someone fast than one that's sightseeing.
-
I wish I could report people that are slowing down a strike because they think every single redbar into patrol zone part of a strike has to die first. I'm convinced that the people that complain about strike speedrunners don't really do the strikes because basically all the strikes have areas that slam you to a halt and force you to kill enemies, stand on plates, or get a ball, etc. I'm not wasting time fight trash mobs inbetween.

They annoy me but I'm mainly there for the bounties so hey, more kills for me, and they can pull me forward. I get the strike done just as fast as them and also get what I want done. If a team shows up to play, I'm there. But if I get matched with someone who is more interested in a slot machine pull, I'm gonna do my own thing too.
-
Bro, I'm just after the pinnacle. I don't have time to waste while you smell the flowers, so I'm gonna rip through the strike, kill the boss in two seconds and be done. If you want to take things slow and enjoy the view, make a team and take all the time you need. Also, side note, this game makes killing things so easy, I can walk into a room, sneeze and turn every enemy into a bloody stain on the wall.

2 RespuestasYou think that’s bad? I wish there was a report function for people who don’t do -blam!- during activities it’s really -blam!- annoying.

If you don’t like it then either deal with it or leave the strike At the very least Bungie should give new lights a separate queue that they choose to go into that pairs them with only new lights, that way people might not try to speed run through it and take their time

Okay is this bait? No way this is an actual issue.

2 RespuestasSpeed it up gramps....I don't got all day!

Nobody likes players like you

2 Respuestas
leaving you to struggle hard
Dude. Its a -blam!- strike enemies are made of wet tissue paper in these things anyway HOW are you struggling?
-
Exactly! I was playing Trials last weekend, and there was this one dude we faced that was straight up out-killing us. He was super good. I want an option to report players like that.
-
Editado por NotCreative123: 1/19/2023 6:24:23 PMAnd I want to report my teammates in Comp who kill the other team too fast!
-
Let me get this straight. you want them punished..... for playing the game the way its meant to be played? GTF outta here kiddo.
-
I find it's all too common to have a blueberry running around thinking the point of the strike is to hang in a patrol zone doing bounties. We should have an option to report them. They are purposely slowing progression. Perhaps I will use the sabotage option from now on and report them all. OR You could simply not try to dictate how others play, and I could do the same?
-
Only if they add a similar option that allows me to report players who run strikes too slow.
. Gotta be something that can be done to keep all members of fireteams equally engaged in the game.
You make a fireteam composed of people with similar interests rather than being reliant on match making.
-
Lol No They want the three strikes done for pinnacle If you want to meander around Squad up with friends
-
I'll see you at the boss!
-
Well since that's not against the rules (or wrong in any way) you could have 1000 new ways to report it and it still wouldn't result in anything.
-
Start a strike on legend, and you can shoot and do what you want.

OP: it’s not just an issue with ‘New Lights’! Many of us have been calling to make Strikes - optional MM / Solo; as the scourge of the ‘hares’ vs. the ‘tortoises’ (like me), is an old chestnut. The current Seraph Legend quest adventure is a case in point: I ran the first two (1 & 2) solo, though on no. 3 - I’d get to the final boss and just get overwhelmed; I then thought to team-up and it was a disaster with hares blasting ahead causing the captain to glitch and not drop the key…or afk-ers and quitters aplenty. They found the final boss overwhelming, too, and bailed?! I just didn’t bother after that. Come reset, and no. 4 is up…I joined a 2-man team via LFG and away we went…only for two of them to bail after several unsuccessful attempts at the 3-brigs and first boss fight!? They found it overwhelming, too, it seemed. So, I continued and completed the run, solo - even though it wasn’t in my game plan due to my dreadful run for no. 3. I did contemplate sending the two quitters an update, but that’s not how my Guardian (H/W/T) plays the game. To report them for quitting is another non-starter…as many aspects of Destiny are infested with quitters. The way to resolve this issue, imho, is to introduce optional Matchmaking (MM) in all PvE modes; this way, the hares and the tortoises can run their own game, as desired! It’s a no-brainer. 👈 Anyhoo, ease springs, play fair, play nice! 👍 Cheers! 🫡

🤣orrrr just leave the strike. Stop -blam!- about other players wanting to play the game they want to.
-
Strike levels that have matchmaking are incredibly easy. Not sure how it would take more than a few seconds to clear the adds and move on…

What in the actual hell🤦🏽♂️
