Why? The games connections is the same if not better than supposedly cbmm. We’ve been here on and off for years, if you can’t take the heat get the -blam!- out the kitchen. Play cod , oops that’s sbmm, play apex, nah that’s sbmm. I won’t suggest valorant because this community is not skilled for that.
Bottom line, play something else or deal with it until bungie release their new games. Good luck folks
Edit: this is not some toxic post, I been stepped away, however I frequent the forums and people still complain about pvp.
Edit: I’m loving the slick comments from some of you inbreds. If you measure your life achievement by destiny pvp you’re a in worst shape then I thought lol

7 RespuestasThey don’t like playing people at their skill level. They want to stomp and sbmm is a reality check for many.

11 RespuestasIt's a very simple reason honestly. The people that don't like SBMM are those who want to play against people of lower skill, to inflate their ego and KD so that when they make smol peen posts on lfg they can look better. A real warrior wants the challenge to play against people of similar skill, so that they get better.

4 RespuestasIt’s simple. People argue against SBMM because they don’t like to compete with others of similar skill levels. They need to feel like they are the best at something and they want those of us that are not PvP gods to feel inferior to them. They use the excuse that they don’t like sweaty matches all of the time but fail to realize that those of us that may not be as good don’t like sweaty matches all of the time either. Therefore, their particular want is more important than those who may not be as good. Another excuse is that those that are not as good won’t get better when we’re not getting stomped every match. Yet, it is quite the opposite. Just my two cents.

Mainly because people don't understand sbmm. The sheep believe the falsehoods they are told by streamers. Sbmm does NOT mean you're "stuck with the best possible load out". It actually means you can use any weapon and if you aren't as effective with it then after a couple of games you'll be lowered into a different bracket. Sbmm doesn't mean you'll "be at the mercy of laggers". With cross play everyone is dealing with on screen lag if you aren't in a PC only lobby. Casuals pvpers aren't looking for "easy games ". We just want to play against our equals.the cbmm crowd are the ones looking for "easy games". Just look up "We Ran medals" on YouTube and you'll see exactly what those streamers want.

5 RespuestasEvery single game you listed having SBMM is a COMPETITIVE, POPULAR game with DEDICATED SERVERS. Destiny 2 tho? Casual clown fiesta pve game with a dead tiny pvp portion with p2p connection. Answers enough? Not? You are simply delusional. The circumstances matter. D2 does not tick any of the requirements for proper SBMM. Not a single one. D2 is a casual mess. They should not cater towards pve warriors with a 0,00000000000002 KD to make them finish their 3 matches for their stupid pinnacle quicker. You are not an audience that should get any consideration when it comes to pvp matchmaking. Us pvp players aren't asking Bungie to make strikes shorter either, are we? My time feels wasted when having to run a strike for 10 minutes. I only wanna play them for 4 minutes max. Bungie please make strikes easier and quicker for me, the pvp player. You see how much sense that makes? Stfu.

2 RespuestasEditado por AubsTheBelieber: 1/14/2023 9:29:39 PMI love SBMM. I have not seen anyone lagging in years so if you are having people lagging every game, guess who is the real problem. Cause my good internet has not had problems with PVP connectivity
-
Dedicated servers should’ve happened first but no………

2 RespuestasThe sbmm argument = If I’m doing the stomping, it’s fun. If I the one getting stomped everyone else is a tryhard.

3 RespuestasCute posting this from a burner account. That says enough

2 Respuestas
connections is the same if not better than supposedly cbmm
If you don’t play like you’ve said then you can’t comment on connections.
-
The stuff this game is doing is so whacked out I can't believe anyone would defend it.
-
“Can’t take the heat, get out the kitchen” I suppose the same could be said to someone complaining because they don’t want to get better.

2 RespuestasEditado por Dude Abides 227: 1/15/2023 4:49:30 AMSbmm absolutely destroys connections for the top players who are in a smaller matchmaking pool. Sure, maybe the average 1.0 gamer has a decent experience but Bungie shouldn't cater pvp to those who only run their three pinnacles a week n don't touch the game mode again until reset.

They aren't crying, they just got some dust in their eyes while explaining their disdain for it.

What a lovely post you've created. Have a pat on the head. /pat

2 RespuestasJust looked up on Google what pvp games use cbmm only destiny 2 came up which says to me cbmm is not popular with other aaa games
-
LOL you can’t really be saying destiny is on the same pvp par as the ones you mentioned, it’s a pve game with pvp attached as for lag ect I haven’t noticed any difference

6 RespuestasConnections have become terrible and the people that say the top 1% just want easy games are now the same people arguing for themselves to have easy games. There’s a reason many of the lifetime 0.8 kd players are now running around with 1.5 seasonal kds. SBMM is the polar opposite of a reality check, sheltering people from anyone near the skill cap so every experience in the game is a walk in the park and is just worsening the middle and lower skilled players and improving the higher skill. The community was already heavily against high skill PvP players gets high tier rewards with pinnacle weapon removal so in a looter shooter it makes no sense, it’s the same with non flawless pool. Yet the devs crumbled to high tier day 1 raid teams asking for div nerfs because it was becoming ‘too easy’ and it looks like linears are next, which is absolutely debilitating to low end raid teams. trials and probably the master warpriest challenge is the only reality check left and is why after every weekend the forum is plastered with ‘add SBMM to trials’ and ‘make freelance permanent’ posts, people want top tier loot for low and mid tier performance.

1 RespuestaI just don’t understand people playing like their life depends on it. I’ve researched and not a single destiny player is talked about as being good in esports. Oddly the few things I did find are real competitive players laughing at destiny players. Idk , I like destiny, it’s not a game for everyone. It’s just funny that not a single destiny player is looked at as a serious player. Says alot about pvp , nobody respects anything about destiny except the few tryhards that idolize streamers.
-
Sbmm still has skewed lobby balancin, too many fireteams, and trials flexes practicing in quickplay before trials goes live for the weekend. Given the player base has dwindled to nothing in pvp, connections are trash to accommodate the skill balancing act bungie is trying to do...which subsequently has made matchmaking take longer. There just aren't enough folks to properly do sbmm without screwing up connection quality, causing you're matching wider skills and higher pings.

They'll just pull the same shenanigans they've pulled with Destiny.
-
2 RespuestasConnections are much worse in my experience and so are my que times. Sbmm is supposed to make better quality matches and it has failed to do so big time because the lobby balancing is still terrible. The only thing bungie has gotten correct is I don't see stacks vs solos anymore. When I play with my stack we play vs stacks and that's a good thing.

Just gonna say I know you might not meant this as a toxic post but it is a toxic bringing topic and on top of that you start with why are people crying about sbmm which is an insult to certain people with certain opinions you should've said complaining or some other word so I honestly believe you meant this to be a way to insult people who do not have the same opinion
