If pvp isn’t your strong suit but you solo trials..
Please stop rushing in solo to your death. Stick with your fireteam and help teamshot the enemy. I’m no sweat but I lost several winnable games this weekend because some particularly “courageous” players felt they could solo clutch every single round only to find the business end of a full fireteam’s arsenal.. every single round.
Edit 1: I actually didn’t expect much opposition to my post but it seems like some of you think playing as a team means camping. Apparently I have to explain that you can play as a team and be aggressive too. What my post is about is the person that bum rushes enemy spawn and dies within the first 15 seconds of every round.
Edit 2: “I don’t care about the win, I’m just in it for the xp”. Sure, keep lying to yourself. Almost everybody wants the win. More xp and a hope that you can get 6 more for flawless. If the sole goal was for quick trials xp, you’d be jumping off the map at the start.
Final note: This is the reason Bungie will never make raids or any other endgame PVE content matchmade. Some players are too selfish and inconsiderate to perceive their own accountability to their fireteam.

1 RespuestaEspecially in things like freelance, people are just way too damn scared. If I run in and kill 2 people and damn near kill the 3rd and my teammates either both die to the last guy or do nothing and he gets to rez for free, that’s on them. Not me Lmao.

3 RespuestasMaybe try being aggressive on occasion. I often find players are too passive in trials, not taking advantage of weakened or killed opponents.

I'm pve main, I've spent roughly 3% of my total playtime in pvp. I haven't played a single game of Trials cause losses don't give enough rep points. It's pointless, cause 90% of it would be nothing but losses.

I play trials for shiits and giggles... Also eternity is not very good for rushing opponents solo

2 RespuestasI had the complete opposite. On my lighthouse game I had a team mate who crouch walked from spawn the entire game with a bow. Never walked or run once.

This is correct. I only play freelance because I don’t have a regular team to play with and when I play for flawless I would move with team irrespective of their skill or style. That said tho sometimes I play reckless. One reason is I don’t like the passive/campy style of play which makes the game so slow. Last week was a good example a lot of titans just sit at spawn behind shoot through shield. Another one is I don’t play for flawless anymore. I’d love to have the title but the only one left is safeharbor which I’d never be able to complete since I don’t have a team.

To try and give a little genuine feedback to all the solo and not very PvP inclined players I had been placed both with and against during the freelance weekend : - PUSH. THE. ORB. My no.1 complaint would easily be that I could drop 1-2 of the enemies and be the only one on my team pushing on their bodies to prevent the rez, and hey if I've just knocked out two or them it's a pretty safe bet my health is Hella low so please at least help knock out the third or watch the orbs instead of waiting for me to die, the whole team to rez and only then moving up. - It's great to see the ones that are trying to follow your lead and team shoot with you however you see that invis hunter that's going to flank the enemy? Yeah bud you following them just makes sure the enemy sees them on radar a hell of a lot more. Stick with the one that ain't invis and be the distraction needed for your invis team mate to pull off the flank - When you've started each round peaking or pushing a specific area and been immediately killed every time you do, switch it up. Please don't feed yourself to the enemy even if you're brand new and just trying to improve you being alive is more help than anything, even if you don't get a kill simply being an extra target along side your team means the enemy can't focus on one of us at a team so our odds of out gunning them increase - don't give up, we all sucked at one point or another but with practice and finding builds/guns that really match your style you will see improvement over time, I can promise you that because I was a player that used to never ever do well and now if I'm not taking a break from Destiny I know I'll get flawless every weekend I want to. You'll get there too in time
