Ikora failed Osiris. She knows him better than anyone except Saint-14. At least Saint knew something was off even if he couldn't put his finger on it. Ikora is supposed to be a once a generation brilliant mind and she didn't give the slightest hind of hesitation in trusting Savaosiris. Come on writers. Stop making Osiris a sniveling wimp of his former self.

It isn’t that Osiris has to get back in the good books. It’s that he has to prove he’s not still compromised. Remember that the very loose thread he’s chasing was taken directly from Savathûn’s mind. Even if Osiris is 100% convinced of its validity, no one has any way to know that this wasn’t another deception by the Witch Queen. That’s what this is about.

Yep. In normal world she would be lifted from her position (maybe even thrown in jail) and new leader for warlocks should appear.

2 RespuestasSure. Blame her for his arrogance leading to him getting whipped and possessed Maybe if Osiris wasn’t so egotistical and had a fireteam this would of never happened? Nah. Blame the woman of course.

1 RespuestaWhat if Osiris is now possessed by Nezarec and he wants Ikoras trust so he can gain access to the traveler and perform a dark ritual. This might also explain his obsession with Neomuna. Not to mention, Elsie has told us time and time again that the darkness uses obsession to corrupt.

5 RespuestasBut that’s exactly why Osiris needs to earn Ikora’s trust again. Not only was he possessed by the God of Trickery, but he also lost his Light and has fallen out of the Vanguards good graces before. He is severely compromised right now, seeing as how not only did Savathun possess his body, but he also only woke up due to the power of darkness from the reliquaries which were, you know, a dead Disciple’s body parts. His memories could also just be a trick that Savathun left for us. Ikora has no reason to try and earn Osiris’s trust again. She has been honest and upfront the entire time when dealing with him, while he has refused to speak plainly in the past. He must prove that he isn’t lying or being influenced by Savathun’s possession.

3 RespuestasThey’ve destroyed most of their characters at this point. It’s almost like each character has 30 different writers.

2 RespuestasYeah, this whole redemption thing just doesn't hold water , he has done nothing wrong to seek forgiveness for , I'm sorry my ghost got killed, and I was possessed by an Alien God, that was totally my fault
-
Kind of seems more like he wants to prove it to himself more than anything. He woke up with no light and having been affected by the darkness of both savathun and nezarec. Now he is having visions and hearing savathuns voice in his head and has a compulsion to find a hidden city on neptune no one has ever heard of. I'd probably question my sanity too in that situation
