And all they built with it was 6 wooden benches and a metal staircase.

1 RespuestaKnowing Bungie the repairs/upgrades are timegated. That wouldn’t surprise you would it?

We completed the event faster than the two trying to fix the jukebox near spider.

I'm sure my 14 coins helped!

It’s still more than Bungie have managed with the $3.5 billion from Sony. -
The irony of this event, is this is how I feel most charities operate You give them a ton of money and only 1% of it actually goes to the people it was intended to help. The EQ should have looked amazing, but it still looks like a 3rd world country. Very disappointing.

I reinstalled and went check out the new and improved fallen place. I couldn’t tell a difference honestly.

2 RespuestasThis shows you how charity works About 10% was spent on the the fallen whilst the rest was pocketed but the organizer’s

1 RespuestaThey also got a broken rusty tractor.

Making content is hard…

Damn. Inflation is a b even during post apocalyptic times.

3 RespuestasHere’s how this works. Bungie put a job for 6 benches and a stair case out for tender. Company 1 replies and says “they’ll do it, for what you want it’ll cost no more than 100m” Company 2 replies and says “they’ll do it for 250m” Company 3 replies and says “they’ll do it for 400m, pay company 1 100m to do the job and we’ll split 300m between us” Bungie: I’ll hire company 3!

Spider has them all... Hes fleecing us guardians for all we are worth

Spider pocketed the rest.

2 RespuestasGot to wonder what these coins are that it supposedly took 400 million+ of them to build a set of stairs, buy a handful of seeds, a set of wooden benches, and pay someone to fix a juke box are. Like are they gold? steel? some kind of magic space metal? why do they have so little worth, or are stairs and benches like a extremely rare thing that we have somehow forgotten how to produce? is there like a room somewhere that has a giant pile of these coins now? are humans in the city using them as a currency? are we melting them down to make other stuff?

1 RespuestaTypical politician maneuver. Now bungie is sitting on 90% of the coins laughing at us peasants 🤣
-
No one donated coins 🤣🤣🤣

Metaphor here somewhere...

3 RespuestasEditado por draycole: 11/24/2022 2:04:50 AMStop... No they didn't... Edit: No -blam!- way, that's all they did was add wooden benches
-
it was used wood so it cost more.

1 RespuestaWorking as intended, accurately reflects bungies spending capacity, give them money and you get copy pasta events and maybe a new strike 1 new/old exotic here and there, 1 new crucible map, seems almost directly related🤣🤣
-
1 RespuestaIt’s just super realistic to how government spending works for what you actually get in return 😅
-
It’s like over a billion now

4 RespuestasNext year, we will have to pay for community events as well because they are too expensive 😂😂
