Exotic (Common) drop is BS!
I have farmed more than 15 Legend NF and 7 Master LS and have yet to get a single exotic.
The only way this is worth while is if there is a weekly Double Reward payout.
Do Not Waste Your Time farming these playlists.
Bungie should be ashamed for baiting us into fake reward chances.

Legend nfs aren’t a common drop. I believe this is Uncommon and by my own personal experience around a 10% chance. Legend Lost sectors are around a 25-33% drop chance with a platinum completion. Reminder I’ve never gotten a drop on a non-plat run of anything that isn’t a GM. Masters in my experience is around 50%. GMs are above that looking at the 90%-ish range. Unfortunately, I believe you were unlucky or didn’t get plat. Does Bungie need to make this more clear? Yep, it currently way too vague

I only ever did the lost sectors to unlock my curaiss of falling star couldn't give a toss about the rest I'll never use them over thunder crash and I have exotics suited to all the existing gameplay mechanics before there -blam!- grind implementation

Bungie needs to entirely rework the exotic lost sectors rewards OR add in glass needles and Possibly adding in the old exotic engram focusing to Xur as well. Since I’ve been counting, it took me 69 EXOTIC drops just to get ONE pair of synthoceps. And of course it was an absolute garbage roll with stats I can’t make any use of. Since then I’m now at another 48 exotics and still not another pair of synthoceps. Of these 117 exotics, I also haven’t had a single pair of Word God Caress drop either… I’m not wasting my time doing lost sectors or Xenology anymore. This system is entirely broke. Bungie wants us to grind and make builds yet their system negates you from doing just that. What’s even worse, like most things in D2, D1 already had these issues resolved…

1 RespuestaWith how many lost sector exotics there are now, getting one to drop much less the one you want and a good roll has become a ridiculous task. lost sectors need to start dropping min one exotic on solo master clears with a chance to drop two

Did it on legend and got nothing at all, this happens a lot, what makes me want to do it again, the same as I got when I opened the end box nothing, and try to ask about it and you're a male content. This is some of what's not making me buy the next season

It makes the few exotics locked behind LS a bit more interesting. Most of them are pretty niche to specific builds (not all). Now as for the Nightfall drop rates, I rarely get NF weapons. I don't have the time to assemble a good GM team every week to make it worth my time [i](don't you "LFG" me)[/i]. I get the gating of these items is a way to increase "value" artificially but I think it's a somewhat necessary issue since it's less fun to get handouts. The worst part of early D2 was how lackluster it felt to get an exotic piece, especially from D1. Bungo's fix should be improved, but we all know that isn't going to be a priority. Lastly, I've had luck with going into 4 or 5 LS runs, getting nothing, quitting out of D2 and starting a new session, and getting a drop. I don't know if that is actually a strat but it worked for me. TLDR: It's not so bad IMO, could be better, could be worse.

This week I did 5 Lost Sectors total on two characters and got 4 exotics. In weeks prior, I would do more than that and not get any. I did a few more LS yesterday just to try different gear, but didn’t get any more exotics… This may be because I already had all of the armor exotics for that character.

Do any GM and you'll be showered in exotics and ascendant shards. I can't get rid of them fast enough

2 RespuestasI remember the season they started L legend LS for exotics and you got the Exotic guaranteed within 2 runs. ( At least that was my experience that season ) It would drop a ridiculous amount of times. I got 3 Drops in 5 runs from all 3 characters. Since last Season... It's like every other 10 you may get a drop.

1 RespuestaDid my first legendary lost sector of this season the other day. Got 2 shards. Did it a 2nd time and got the new spiky exotic Warlock helmet. Hopefully your luck will improve.

The worst part is when you finally get the exotic to drop from a LS, it's guaranteed to be a garbage roll & you'll have to wait for double loot Nightfalls to get a good one. LOL

I only ran two on my warlock and got exactly the 2 pieces I wanted with decent rolls and only ran 6 on my hunter and got all 3 pieces of gear I wanted minus the dance machines.

Exotic drops from master and GM are super regular, past week with double rewards i got close to 20 exotics from 10 runs across my 3 characters, plus Legend is Uncommon which means it has like 10% chance to drop
