Forerunner is an actual meme in pvp, almost no way to counter it, if every special weapon gets the chance to kill twice off of spawn in why does forerunner get the forgiveness of the 4th shot? Lmk your thoughts of a possible nerf/rework
-
Future? That thing is dumb right now
-
The sandbox is really good spot. There are a few outliers drang being far outside of the mean. Forerunner is on par with a 140 HC.

1 RespuestaLiterally just bait the shots, playing cover is Forerunner's counter

Editado por Joulevette12: 11/6/2022 2:27:56 PMForerunner has always been gd since release ppl just picked it up now thinking the sidearm buff and hype thinking the buff effected it in someway which it did not happen the only nerf I see is to reduce ammo count back down again to how it was previously Pretty soon Bungie gonna implement the D1 special nerf with all the complaints about special weapons that seems go on like ever season now

Significantly reduce the hitbox…. It’s the obvious fix to so many broken guns
-
Its a very strong pick right now, but its hard to call it overpowered when it doesn't one shot. A good sniper can beat it, a well positioned shotgunner or fusion rifle user will beat it, and GLs can kill it without peeking. The only real issues are the really good ammo economy and it can be used with the strongest sidearms to stack targeting/unflinching mods.
-
Almost no way to counter ? What lol….have you tried shooting the enemy?
-
It's a special ammo scout rifle that fires 260 rpms and does 72 to the head.. with any damage buff it can 2 head 1 body, it's almost can not be countered.. it needs to only do 50 per crit and start with 2 extra ammo 4 crit or 3 crit n a body with a buff would at least allow you to disengage and it would still be a fast ttk.
-
Play your corner and bait shots? It uses special ammo so they’ll run out. If you’re out in the open trying to 1v1 them you’re not playing to your advantage and might get 1v2 Ed anyway lol

I honestly think Bungie’s going to bring in the range and or aim assist fall off distance. Put it somewhere around 35m, so it still hits further than hand cannons but can’t map people.

3 RespuestasEditado por Omega-7: 11/6/2022 1:23:50 AMI have seen a bit of a increase of Forerunners lately and I think they should need the damage on that thing or nerf the range either way nerf the Forerunner because that thing is a sniper in the form of a sidearm. And also they need to nerf the Lorentz Driver because that thing is as powerful as Gjallarhorn so it needs to get a tiny bit worse just so everything else can have a better chance against that disgusting thing. And the Cryothesia 77k is downright annoying.
-
We'll start by not even putting in a gun meant to be the most broken shi from Halo. It needs to be an actual sidearm, not a hand cannon codes with infinite range for starters.
-
I think a reasonable “nerf” would be to 1. Make it so that it only spawns you with 6 shots instead of 8 2. Make it so that it only picks up 2 ammo per brick You have a powerful weapon at the start of the match, but you’ve gotta hit your shots. If you hit all 6 shots, you pick up 4 ammo which is enough for a 2-head 2-body kill. Would make it more risk-reward.

I’d say it’s kinda as OP as the Combat Evolved magnum. All you needed back then.

1 RespuestaForerunner was grossly overlooked for a hot minute. PvPers have cottoned on, PvErs will do likewise sooner or later.

Editado por Smough: 11/6/2022 1:13:28 AMI don’t think it’s any more powerful than other special weapons at the moment. A good sniper or will positioned shotgun/fusion user can quite easily shutdown a forerunner. At most I would nerf the aim assist value to 30-40 instead of 60, and maybe reduce bodyshot damage so that you’re punished even more for missing a headshot. But, at the end of the day, it’s an exotic special weapon that is good, but not too good. Sure you could complain it needs a nerf, but then people will just pick up something else that might even be more annoying to fight against.
