Bungie needs to focus on the core game.

Bungie, the core activities of your game are dying. Crucible, gambit, strikes, patrols… All of them are very quickly losing any relevance if they haven’t lost all of it already. Old raids and dungeons are becoming easier and easier to steamroll through with little effort due to powercreep, and the loot from these activities is becoming more and more dated. This is one of the largest problems with destiny 2 right now in my opinion. Despite these activities dying, and despite placing precious pinnacles behind said activities, almost nothing is being done about it outside of a small update here and there. Instead, bungie is focusing on disposable seasonal content. Content that, unlike the core activities, will be trashed by the end of the year to make room for MORE disposable content. So bungie, as someone who wants to enjoy playing destiny 2, I ask that next year you take a look at the activities I mentioned at the beginning of my post, and make a serious effort in updating and improving them. Stop making disposable content for a season or two, and use the time to improve what’s already in the game. Nobody is going to miss an activity where you stand on plates and throw orbs for the 10 millionth time, but they will notice and likely appreciate an update to the core activities. Will this actually get noticed by bungie? I doubt it. But it’s something I really wanted to post.
