Tactical Mag on the Mechabre
I was able to get a Mechabre with tactical Mag.
The thing is, TM gives me 1 more bullet in the magazine, making it 4.
But when I add backup mag, I do not get the 5th bullet.
Not only that, but when I try to deactivate backup mag, the magazine gets the red color and the downward arrow, as if I am going to lose a bullet, but even after that, it is still 4 in the magazine.
I am doing something wrong or what?
TM can not be mixed with BM?

3 RespuestasIt's because a lot of perks work based off percentages and bungie didn't tailor some of them for weapon archetypes that hold less than 10 rounds.

That's just how it is. There is a hidden stat that determines mag size. Tac mag + back-up mag just doesn't have enough "hidden stat" to push it to the max tier, which is 5 for aggressive frame snipers. Now appended mag or extended mag + back up mag do add up enough hidden stat to break in to the 5 bullet tier. Same thing happens with adaptive frame snipers, it's max is 7 bullets, but cannot hit it with tac mag. For triple tap+vorpal you really want the appended or extended for the 5 bullet mag, with it you can fire 7 bullets with out reloading assuming you make the crits.

1 RespuestaEach weapon has a max magazine cap. once that cap has been reach it cannot go higher. Mechabres max is four at once which is why Backup Mag does not add another bullet.

17 RespuestasThink they are treated as the exact same thing, hence why they don’t stack. Someone with better knowledge can probably confirm or deny this though.

3 RespuestasIf I remember correctly each gun has a magazine cap making some perks and the back up mag mod not stack. Don't quote me on this one but I also belive backup mag gets you to like, 99% of your mag cap and the adept mag puts you at the mag cap for that weapon.
