Crossplay should not be allowed in higher level PVP.
There’s definitely a unfair advantage for certain consoles over other consoles because of crossplay. Crossplay still needs to be addressed.

2 RespuestasBroken! Crossplay is another failed attempt to patch a dwindling playerbase. Low player numbers create a major dent in PvP matchmaking and overall experience. Crossplay was probably added to alleviate that. But it seems like it’s not even helping sometimes. Failure! Due to a broken and empty game. Haha!🤣

5 RespuestasI genuinely don't think it would change anything, you'd be surprised how amazing some controller players are. In the leaderboards, there's no indication that because you're on PC, PS4, Xbox or PS5, you have any advantage. Good players are just plain old good regardless of their platform. I always thought you'd see nothing but PC players at the top of the leaderboards but all platforms are well represented and as often as not, you're seeing console players in the #1,2, and 3 spots just as much as PC players.

1 RespuestaIt’s funny how this is not being discussed anymore because there are even bigger issues, even though this one is already game-breaking. In a game that wants you to grind out perfectly rolled weapons for optimum TTK, it’s just laughable to be matched with people who are half a second ahead of you. In addition to p2p and horrible servers in general it just makes the game unplayable. You can’t even tell if people are cheating anymore because the game is so bad that it could be anything.

Neither should melees, AOE grenades, and Witherhoard pools through or over top of cover, but all of that happened to me last night in the course of just a few matches. Bungie can't even make walls work right. And this is why I try not to play their garbage PvP...

crossplay with SBMM should be mandatory so their is higher population with less wait time and better connection

2 RespuestasYep, I had an interesting chat with someone on XBOX a little while back. There is a glitch you can abuse if you know what it is, it isn't talked about because the people that abuse it don't want it taken away. If you check the roster at the start of a match, you can select specific targets to use the glitch against. I won't say how because I'm likely to get a ban for even bringing it up, but there's a way to not appear on screen for around 1/2 second when encountering someone on the opposing console. I initially blamed latency, but this guy was forcing it to happen on demand. I had a civil chat to him and we parted ways.

Whether it's teleporters, players simply not taking damage, or them somehow having faster movement despite low mobility makes me hate PVP many times. And don't even get me started on pc players and all of their guns shooting with 100% accuracy/no recoil.
