GrandMasterNTBusterYoda again the name was up for weeks with no issue, my original (which was this same name except with a U between NT so you get the gesture.) was up since Beyond Light without ever being forced to changed. Obviously someone(s) abusing the system and reporting my name simply because they don't like it if it can be up for weeks to months without ever being force changed.
-
At this time you only get one name change until Bungie allows another (at this time there’s no word on if/when this will be). You are stuck with what you have.
-
I want to at least confirm if my name was falsely reported because that's a huge issue.
-
Editado por I_Mir_l: 9/22/2022 2:49:26 AMYour name was literally GrandMasterNutBusterYoda… name reports are also reviewed by moderators on Bungies side to prevent false reports so it was deemed inappropriate to someone and action was taken.
-
That's not the name in question this time.
-
You had that name then changed it without the “U”. That doesn’t change the fact you had the previous name and someone reported it. There’s nothing that can be done until Bungie allows another name change.
-
Still doesn't break CoC. That's how loopholes work. NT can mean anything. if they're gonna start forcing false name changes might as well do it on anyone else with abbreviations in their name because they can also be implied of breaking CoC.
-
You had a name that violated the CoC (and you know what you were doing naming yourself that). There’s nothing that can be done until Bungie allows another name change.
-
All name moderation is done by Bungie staff. Whether by reports or systematic detection the name is reviewed before moderation action is taken
-
They're not doing a very good job if they're falsely forcing name changes. Name has been up for weeks and last one that was forced changed since last year, there's no way a human did any form of moderation for this.
-
How long a name has existed does not factor into moderation. If the name violated the code of conduct or other name rules it is removed once it is reviewed.
-
Except it didn't break any CoC. That's the problem here.
-
Bungie felt otherwise.
-
You mean a single individual who doesn't know how to do their job and needs to be investigated.
-
Opinions vary
-
When do they even have available name changes since it's ridiculous and pretty unprofessional to not give one after forcing a false name change.
-
There have been no announcements regarding future name changes
-
Editado por DiaryOfAMadYodaOnDagoBUH: 9/22/2022 3:42:35 AMThen how can i contact bungie directly? They can't force this name change on me without giving a name change in exchange. I didn't get forced into linking my account to be overwatched by a company that tries to manage my steam account.
-
The name change has no impact on your steam account. Only your Bungie name was moderated. There is no appeal for name moderation
-
technically it does if I'm playing destiny through steam, making purchases on steam for THEIR GAME, and so forth. if they didn't want to have this, they should of allowed players to just play through steam without linking accounts.
-
You knew exactly what you were doing when choosing that name and you know darn well why it was moderated. Taking out a single letter does not change the insinuation you were going for. Bungie made the right choice. Enjoy your(hopefully) permanent new name, Guardian 2238!
-
Nope, doesn't break CoC as NT can mean anything. Sorry you're too dimwitted to see someone at Bungie is abusing their power as moderators.
-
Editado por toneDef Weary: 9/22/2022 8:55:16 AMYou are forgetting the name that likely got reported which gave away your intent. And you call me dimwitted... Edit - Also, it's "should have", or "should've"...
-
The Bungie name only shows in Bungie games. Your other steam games are unimpacted. Bungie made the decision your chosen name was not in alignment with their policies and rules so it was moderated on their platform. Unfortunately it is Bungie's decision and at this time if you have already used your one allowed name change then there is no recourse. You will have to wait and see if they will allow additional changes in the future.

So why can people have 69, -blam!-, weed, and other implicit words in their name but i can't have just the letters NT?!
