That one especially stings just ‘cause there aren’t many Zelda-likes, either. Athough, the devs of CrossCode are makig a new game, so that’s promising!

Yay for Crosscode! But yeah, i hope nintendo goes back to making traditional zeldas after botw 2. BotW is pretty much one of the best open world game out there, but there's like a gajillion open world games, so it sucks that one unpopular structure has been abandoned for another that's super prolific.

They haven’t actually confirmed Project Terra is a Zelda-like, like CrossCode was, but it seems to be a spiritual sequel to CrossCode in every other regard, so it’s probably a Zelda-like, too! But man, then right after BotW, Darksiders III came out, too, having also dropped the Zelda formula. I really don’t get why; the Zelda formula is one of the best game design philosophies, imo.
