Hunter Nerf
I love the fact bungie said we are taking all one shot abilities away but left the hunter with three one shot ability kills. They should have been clear from the start we are taking all one shot abilities away from Titans and warlocks. Oh that’s right they accidentally gave the Titans a one shot ability and left it in the game to keep people from yelling. The baby hunters.

8 RespuestasWhat you need to understand is that well over 90% of Destiny 2 Influencers are Hunter mains. Bungie makes sure that Hunters are always far and away the most powerful class in PVP and will rotate in extremely OP facets to the class. Shatterdive is done! Oh wait, here comes Invisi-Hunter and 1 minute Golden Gun. They also keep HCs and Shotties in the meta at all times to appease these exact same Influencers

3 RespuestasThey never said they were taking them away. They said some were too ‘free’. A ‘skill shot’ or a long cool-down are required to have a one shot as per Bungie.

9 RespuestasThe throwing knife is honestly just as easy to hit as handheld grenades. I find it ironic how anyone can say otherwise. Im going around sliding and landing easy headshots with the knife on my hunter, its straight up BS lol. The hitbox on that thing is larger than people realize, handhelds at the very least has enough penalties but throwing knife only has 1.

1 RespuestaWeighted Throwing knife is mid, it’s literally only effective against people that get seen in a position and continue to hold the exact same peak (what most scout rifle users do) or people that ape with a shotgun in a in a straight line. Getting hit by celestial fire or the stupid void warlock melee that smacks you in to the air and absorbs damage then finished is far more tilting.

The baby hunters.[/quote] Throwing knife will be the only one hit ability exclusive to hunter by the end of the year. Being able to one hit doesn’t make an ability good or better than other abilities. Weighted knife in its own is worse than explosive knife. You can have one hit abilities that are pretty bad too. Flux nade, a grenade that will be on all classes, is not going to be a very popular pick next season.

3 RespuestasHere's my problem with players who complain about hunters. Yea hunters have better movement and some builds are better for pvp. But titans and warlocks in my opinion are better if you know how to use them properly or better than a hunter. I main hunter so I know how to counter hunter's in pvp. On my warlock i run void and arc and titan I run solar and void. Warlock I have the arc souls with getaway artist or void tether with astrocyte verse. I run sniper or fusion for warlock, and for titan I run shotgun with peregrine greaves. I know my strengths and weaknesses but I still dominate the field with these builds. I do have my down days but most times I'm doing my best. Yea warlock can't ohko or titan can't do it without the exotic leg armor but bungie had their reasons. Warlock I find it to annoy the player with arc or my tether. While my titan solar is for taking down supers or suppressing them with void. If you cant compete a jump hunter I don't know what to say.

2 RespuestasWhile I agree with you on a hunter should not have a 1 hit throwing knife ability your execution of delivering your message makes this look like another rage post. If you want your post to be actually considered and you're not just venting you need to make sure when you call for a nerf you suggest a solution or it looks like whining. Now while I don't think hunters should have a one shot ability, titans still do but at the cost of an exotic. I think the same should go for hunters. Just like shoulder charge, throwing knives can be used alot of ways via proximity. So I think their utility will still remain intact despite taking away their one shot ability. As for the usage of the exotic created it would probably not be used as much as peregrine and with a majority of the community maining hunters this would obviously cause alot of ruffled feathers.

14 Respuestaslike most of their design choices i fully disagree with shoulder charge not being a 1 shot ability... whats the point in it being in the game if it no longer servers its purpose if weighted throwing knife didn't 1 shot to the head literally no one would use it its like if shotguns and fusions no longer 1 shot literally no one would use a fusion cus i can just use a shotgun and melee follow up if its not damage its speed we focus on
