That’s the end of the quest line?
I mean really fight all three bosses and over lol what am five years old come on now. Talk about a waste of time.

1 RespuestaYeah the seasonal model is trash for Destiny. We get a 30 minute story stretched out to 7 weeks and some boring public event or strike they expect us to grind every season. The worst part? It all gets removed from the game after you paid for it.

1 RespuestaThe idea of "seasonal content" - at least as implemented in D2 - is not a good fit, does not feel good & is unsatisfying in its execution. Hasn't been working for awhile. Very predictable, very repetitive, ultimately un-compelling. . Would be happy to drop it altogether and go back to more meaty DLC-style expansions that are a bit more "longer-term" in scope rather then these resets we see every season.

1 RespuestaThe seasonal story and activity was terrible/recycled which is a shame because the seasonal and opulent weapons and their perk pools where pretty good They missed a huge opportunity with the scythe to make it a heavy exotic with some sort of synergy with solar 3.0. It would have been a far better dungeon prize or season pass weapon than the stuff we got The season felt very mailed in, worse than season of the hunt and that’s already a very low bar. I’d rather have content droughts than what we got

Is it worse compared to the Season of Undying? I have yet to complete this seasons story and it doesn’t sound super compelling to complete.

2 RespuestasI for one am tired of this seasonal model we are in. I like the story and stuff but the rinse repeat horde mode then story mission that’s not all that different from last weeks is getting old. I’m all for a grind but the way they have crafting set up has killed all my enthusiasm for this season’s weapons. I can craft CALUS mini-tool so why am I still getting red borders of it while my other opulent weapons are sitting at 1/5? The game has gotten kinda stale and monotonous for me so I’m going to give it a break for awhile.

1 RespuestaThis entire season is a distraction. Totally irrelevant in the Grand Scheme. Just a rehashing of Shadowkeep. Essentially the story progresses once a year with a little posturing in each season. Im ready for Destiny to end now. I'm tagging along out of curiosity as to how it will end but I'm loitering close to the fire exit.

Considering the “content” is only 10$, it makes sense. I always liked the actual DLC model but whatever, this is the stuff majority of you are willing to accept.

7 Respuestasat this time bungie is not even trying anymore.. just the recycled shadow realm animation of calus and the old three nightmare bosses.. voila.. the culmination of the season where we are supposed to meet calus in his new form .. but nope, replayed the old animation with calus shadow realm personality spitting out some skulls, while caitl is doing the titan dome for us.. and eris, Zavala and Crow supposedly having a "hard time".. while we walk to the throne room which is reused from the old leviathan raid with some poo/goo decoration. a single room with the pyramid tileset a 1:30 minute "bossfight" where we kill the nightmares, again, and this somehow weakens and kills calus "somewhere".. aaaand thats it. the grand finale.. bungie couldnt be arsed to do anything clever, new, interessting, or in any form shape or idea "something" for the season finale.. i mean watching the almighty getting shot my rasputin wasnt my idea of fun also but when we could enter the last city and speak with ikora, that was at least some new asset to look at. but here they couldnt even be arsed to create at least some "show not tell" for calus. then uldren fades away and then the zavala lady noone heard of before and ghaul is somehow gone , too. some cringe memories on the dull and boring nightmare hunt 2.0 on the leviathan. and an endmonologue where eris talks about joy with the drifter.. whoo.. i am negatively impressed.. is there anyone from bungie still working on this IP or has everyone moved over to "Matter" ? and what is supposed to come for th next 48 days? instead of 10 minute playtime on weekly reset its back to none?

19 RespuestasThe worst part was Bungie telling us how good the season was going in to it; it raised expectations but what we got was weak. The plot has been done before, explorations of grief are common place in the media and this did nothing new; if you’re going to explore an age old concept then you need to bring it and Bungie brought nothing.

2 RespuestasYep, cause it was all a build up. A build up to us losing the light and eventually facing calus, the 3rd sister, and then the witness. Revealing the final shape is all of us working/living together as one.

I saw the light at the start of the Season. This isn't an evolution in story-telling that Bungie began last year... ...this is a momentary reflection, a single story beat dragged out forever. They had the pulse and killed it. It's always elusive with Bungie and destiny. Dancing clumsily on slippery fingers falling out of grasp again, and again. I am so tired of it. I couldn't dislike 'haunted' any more. It feels re-treaded and I hate the giant familiarity of it all.

I couldn't believe how basic and easy it was. So so so dull. It's like bungie have no idea sometimes: it's either a great narrative and great quests or absolute gash.
