When I have open NAT: not a single living soul within my game, no matchmade games, no one at the tower, can't connect to my friends. When I have strict NAT: all is working as normal, only now I have a narrower playerbase and I have to worry that my friends have open NAT so I can play with them. I would like an explanation on this Bungie. This NAT problem doesn't occur in any other multiplayer game I have installed. And don't tell me to look at Network Troubleshooting, already eyed up those texts. All of this started to happen shortly after Witch Queen release, so I am thinking something at your end Bungie. Previous year, no problem what so ever. Console of choice: Xbox Series X.

3 RespuestasCould you provide more information about your network config? By this, I'm mainly after whether you have UPnP enabled or Port Forwarding. Note that if you do have both, you should remove one as they do not work well together. Generally, UPnP is the recommended approach, as that doesn't require setting up a static IP and port forwarding is automatic. This option is also required, if you have more than one device connecting to Destiny/Destiny 2 servers within the same household. I'd personally only recommend enabling Port Forwarding in the case UPnP is not working for you. So, in short: * If you have UPnP (automatic Port Forwarding), you should be using DHCP (automatic IP assignment) * If Port Forwarding, you should have a static IP address (manual IP/port assignment) * Don't mix and match the above two options
