PS5 HDR issue on startup
I’ve not had any HDR issues until the latest update. When I load the game from the PS5 home menu, the screen goes black when it is trying to initialise the switch into HDR mode, and then it doesn’t come back on - the PS5 doesn’t respond and I need to do a hard reboot to be able to use the system again. I have an 2017 LG OLED (so the TV needs to “turn on” the HDR when it gets the input signal from the PS5 - it’s not a smooth transition like the new models).

7 RespuestasHi MooN, Thanks for reaching out about this. Let me ask a few things to hopefully get a better idea: 1. Does this occur to any other games that incorporate HDR besides Destiny? 2. Have there been any recent PS5 software updates? Or are there any updates pending? 3. Does Destiny seem to run fine with HDR turned off? 4. Have you tried deleting and re-downloading Destiny? (I know not a fun option to try) 5. If none of the above questions/ideas solve this, would you be able to take a good quality video of this happening, upload it to Youtube, and then share the link to the video here so we can see? Let me know!
