Please add more craftable weapons!
Crafting exist, why couldn’t the title come as a craftable weapon for this event? I really thought crafting was going to enhance the way we get weapons but we are still stuck doing the same exact grind that I personally will never bother to do. It just feels like another abandoned feature added to the game, why even create a way to craft weapons if we aren’t going to get new weapons to craft? This guardian games could’ve been a perfect way to add more to the crafting, I would’ve actually played more but I lost interest knowing I have to HOPE to get a good roll. Sure this game is a looter shooter but we now have crafting, I want to craft stuff! The issue I want to point out is that as long as random roll weapons exist, Ill never ever bother grinding for anything because I know there will always be something better on each new season or expansion. Crafting on the other hand makes me want to level up the guns and it makes me want to use them to my personal liking even if something better or similar comes out.

1 RespuestaBecause the community would be sick trying to get the god rolls for all weapons. Especially with such a short season, I only bothered to finalize like 3-4 guns out of the craft pool.

1 RespuestaI havent crafted any weapon that drops from world loot. Only one i crafted was the quest weapons for the glaive and forensic nightmare cause its not as easy to come across.

Lets hope next season's dungeon weapons allow for crafting. Same with rotating raid weapons. If bungie allowed for craftable weapons from... Last wish. Garden. Deepstone VOG. Then people wouldnt care if those raids would leave next year because they would be able to craft those guns. Because 90% chance kings fall will have craftable guns

2 RespuestasWhen I saw the first pictures of the guns, I thought to myself "ah, they're using a modular system here, that's fancy!". Because the weapons look so blocky.... I thought to myself that you can actually use different receivers, barrel, stock, grip.... you can choose. So I could either create an AR as a "fast" short weapon with low range, but high firing frequency or a long barrel weapon with low firing frequency with higher damage. I assumed that you can farm or buy the parts of the weapons. That the look of the weapons changes according to the customizations. The current system is much simpler. In addition - the visually interesting weapons are apparently only available in the raid. So you have this - you can shape a weapon that you have already received 5000x. Which I have to level up with weird perks, and then eventually pick matching perks and maybe even better perks. This slows down the fun. Besides - why do I need to level weapons? I should be able to level my craft and build better weapons with it. This is the point where I realize that in theory they've pushed a nice feature, but they've never looked at the practice. I would like to be able to build weapons that you can't get otherwise. Why can't you farm "crafting cells" and then need 5 for a rocket launcher (any) or use 3 for an SMG? No, you have to farm the SAME weapon x times so that you can then build it ... ?!?!?!?!?!?! These people are not players. Neverever.

10 RespuestasNah, I gotta be honest but the whole Deepsight farming thing just got boring and annoying and the whole crafting system is a huge bust to me. Don't care, don't see the point, glaives suck and got nerfed into the ground and they don't feel like some personalized special thing I "crafted". There's no special perks that can only be had by crafting, so I rather just use the legendary weapons that drop because it's faster and less hassle. Not that I expected much from a crafting system being added to a looter shooter, but they somehow still managed to not meet my expectations. If we can't make truly personalized, special, and unique - not to mention powerful - weapons then I rather not have crafting at all. Especially this whole "run the same event 800 times for a chance to bla bla bla".

Please drop something else than the one rocket launcher and side arm is what I would say. I have tons of crafting materials ( I think, but don't know as I have no clue what the hell I need ) and 3 blueprints due to the game dropping the same crap all the time.

Next season you’ll probably see more added in

I have one with perfect balance and counterbalance and a good selection of optics. The thing is a laser. The Third Axiom shares the same physical model, plus a bipod, and I'd jump at the ability to recreate my baby.
