Surrender option???
So for the fourth match this week in survival I’ve had a teammate ragequit after the second round and proceeded to get curbstomped and lose rank. It would be great if Bungie could implement a surrender option for if someone disconnects??? Half the ranking penalty and half the gains from surrendered matches if that becomes a thing. This is getting obnoxious.

Failing upwards is the logic of a flawed, incompetent and [i]pathetic mind[/i] of a worm neither worthy of the end game arenas or it's bountiful rewards. Failure teaches. Ot hardens you, it shows you how to do better. But if you give up? What was the point? Surrendering I'd already an option with consequences. Quit. Suffer a ban for your feeble and timid attempt. This isn't Crucible. It's Trisls. This isn't The basics, it's Iron Banner. Neither are forvthe feint and feeble. Stand and fight. Or stay out of the way for the rest of us. You're holding us back.

If there was a surrender option you would still be counted as a automatic loss to thd match with point loss included. If any way people could get out of a match without the associated penalties they would abuse it.

For example if your team should be getting mercied or if your team leaves in comp you should get the option to shut down the match and take the L without worrying about a ban. When my team leaves I do everything in my power to cliff jump as fast as I can while making sure the enemy team doesn’t have time to kill me.

6 RespuestasSo basically you make it so that the moment your team goes down a point you all surrender and don't suffer losing, seems to me you want to just end the match instead or trying to win. This is how it would go every game. Enemy goes up a point. Your entire team surrenders. Enemy team wins. You don't get punished for backing out as much as losing. Everytime you start losing blackout because you don't get punished as much. This is an awful idea if you surrender you should lose twice as much points for not trying to win and finish the match otherwise no one would ever finish by losing they would just quit.

You can hand pick your teammates so they have good skill, good internet and don't rage quit. If you keep doing solo, you're probably going to keep getting disappointed. You're basically setting yourself up for failure.
