Scorn Crossbow is f’n ridiculous.
Who’s with me on this? I have been one-shotted by this ludicrous thing more than any other PVE attack in Destiny history. Since Witch Queen launched this thing has been OP AF.

1 RespuestaIts been a problem even before witch queen. Hollowed Lair GM last season was loaded with them. Its a sure one shot; no amount of sniper resistance mods could keep you alive. I simply had to know where they spawned and get them before they got me

I was just playing against those in Gambit yesterday. Same thing happened to me…one sec I am fine, next I get hit by that one shot crossbow and am like WTF and time to respawn… I guess. So annoying, seems overpowering.

3 RespuestasBungie have commented on Reddit that this will be fixed but not until a future season (presumably the next one in April/May hopefully?). I guess it's either a broader problem that runs deep and effects more than just the scorn crossbows, or it's too low on the priority list for fixing sooner. It sucks either way.

1 RespuestaIt's also erratic on how much damage you take too. In the WellSpring, the Boss with the Cross bow one shot my Warlock while I was in a Well. I got shot a second time, but took maybe 1/3 of my health outside of a well. I realize that a body shot - head shot will have massively different effect, but this seems very OP.

4 RespuestasDude the scorn, in general, are the hardest enemies IMO in higher-level content I remember doing the Glycon on master and those crossbow boi's were the absolute bane of the run half the time. Don't even get me started on the freaking screebs. If the hallowed lair was bad, the birthplace of the vile is gonna be one of the hardest gm's in the game, Why? because there are so many spots in the strike where you have limited or zero cover. It's going to be a slog tbh, but it makes beating it all the better.

I’ve been saying this since Frosaken. I’ve had more unexpected deaths from them than any other enemies in the game. They need to have a laser that paints you similar to the psions or something. The issue is : they have a quiet audible que, they don’t hardly flinch you and there isn’t really any noticeable visual que either. Yes they have all of them but they aren’t noticeable enough IMO. I’m well aware when a trace rifle, line rifle, psion rifle or even the hive revenant rifle is targeting/shooting me. With the scorn, I know when I’m dead that a sniper was tagging me.

Yup. Ridiculous. Also hate the fact that hive light guys have exotics, citan ramparts, and better supers.

Literally Bungie knows but doesn't care they know about the scorn snipers damage and yet they don't patch it even though they can patch raid glitches immediately but they don't patch the ones that hurts players.

Some of the modifiers make it do way more damage, I think part of the problem is how few weapons can effectively hit them from where they’re programmed to shoot from.
