The story is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Expanded Universe Material most of the character development will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Boba's ruthless outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Sun Zhu's The Art of War, for instance.
The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this storyline, to realize that they're not just action set pieces- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike The Book of Boba Fett truly ARE bantha fodder - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Boba's existencial line "I had it under control," which itself is a cryptic reference to Ron Howard's movie Solo.
I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those scruffy looking nerfherders scratching their heads in confusion as Dave Filoni's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Mandalorian tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

43 RespuestasEditado por TheArtist: 1/27/2022 1:06:19 PMWow. Just when I think I've seen everything. To lose an argument and then make an entirely new thread to triangulate the rest of the forum. The Book of Boba Fett is simply a story that is slow paced, and is telling a larger tale in a wider universe. One that is focusing on the growth of the characters rather than the events they are involved in. If you don't like it? Fine, no one says you have to. If you don't have the patience to deal with the slow pacing? Fine, that's a common "affliction" these days as people's attention spans get shorter. But to insist that something has no value simply because you don't like it is really petty. ...and to mock those who can see the value of something that you can't is also really petty. Smh. Apparently its back to the middle school playground.....

2 RespuestasEditado por Warlock Holmes: 1/28/2022 4:37:53 AMWatching that show is like riding a elephant. If riding a elephant was like riding a horse. Also if riding a horse was like riding a Tensers Floating Disc. Plus that only applies if riding a Tensers Floating Disc is like flying a very bad ship to bring bounties back in. Plus, that only applies if riding a really bad ship to bring bounties back in is like riding a dragon. We all should know that the analogy only works if riding a dragon was like riding a mechanical spider robot. Though that only applies if riding a mechanical spider robot is like riding a crashed spaceship. In order for that to stand true, riding a crashed spaceship must be like riding the waves. Naturally, riding the waves has to be like riding a car. Removing 3 wheels to make this work, riding a car is like riding a unicycle. Adding another wheel for succession makes riding a unicycle like riding a bike. Well, if riding a bike was like riding a motorcycle to. Really only if riding a Motorcycle was like riding a speeder. And that only applies if riding a speeder is…..
….Like a Bantha!

Fun fact, the Bantha in New Hope was played by a trained elephant! Or at least I think, unless Watson is lying to me (something I doubt).
