The thing is there are so many easy solutions.
-Automatically convert blues into gunsmith materials once a player reaches soft power cap
-Let players store ascendant shards in the vault
-Let players hold stacks of 50 or 100 instead of 10
-Don't send blue gear to the postmaster
At this point I can only assume they don't care.
