Streamers and other carries will constantly reset their card to stay in the "easy" non-flawless pool.
Bungie needs to introduce some mechanics to avoid that behavior, otherwise, we keep having two sweaty pools in the driest phase of the season.
Here are some ideas that came to my mind to fight the current situation:
- Lock the card after a specific win streak (some kind of fraud detection)
- Provide only three resets in total (until 7 wins have been achieved – flawless or not)
- Cards can't be reset for a time duration after the last reset
It needs to be as unattractive as possible for streamers or carries to reset their card. Wasting time will be the best option for streamers since they don't want to bore their audience.
Let me know what you think and provide more ideas :)

They kind of fixed it with the win based matchmaking but all the streamers cried that they actually had to play other sweats instead of farming easy games like they're used to. And naturally Bungie has to listen to the influencers.

1 RespuestaWhat about «Can't reset a card until it is flawed»?
-
2 RespuestasDrop trials. Fixed.

1 RespuestaSo if you reset cos you lose and your limited your locked out of flawless for a week Tertriblr idea

4 RespuestasDamn well if they do that and make it easier for players who cant understand its not QP maybe they should make GMs easier for people who just want to squad up and not come up with a tactical plan. Really seems like all the PvE players want Trials to be easier but are completely opposed to GMs being easier aint that a funny bit of hypocrisy
-
12 RespuestasLmao. You guys are always trying to find a way to make trials easier and never offering solutions that aren’t completely selfish 😂 Want people to stop resetting? Give the flawless pool incentive… ya don’t want that though cause then that means there are things ya aren’t good enough to get

The biggest toxic trait this community has is trying to game/cheese the system to make content as easy as possible, as opposed to playing as intended. That’s why you see the devs making quick cheese fixes, as opposed to tweaking guns/etc. if we stop cheesing -blam!-, I bet the devs wouldn’t have to quickly patch the cheese and can continue to improve the game. Kind of an ironic cycle if you really think about it. This weekend I matched with 4 teams that were like 25-2, 100-8, 65-4, or something close. 4 matches is a lot better than prior weekends, but really discourages me from playing. Either get rid of the flawless pool, or punish those that cheese it. 1- I like this idea best. Once you hit, say, 20 wins on the weekend, you cannot ever reset until 2 losses. 2- I don’t like this as I tend to reset on 2-3 win cards and 1 loss a lot. I think this would hurt the average player more. 3- I don’t junk this for the same reason as #2 Ultimately these folks need to be banned, or at least have some sort of punishment like locking them from the game mode but perhaps still allowing them to play other content. Like a time out that quitters get.

30 RespuestasTbh the only fix they need for all pvp modes is to make match making skill based. For too long the majority of the player base avoids pvp altogether because the avg/lesser skilled players cannot compete. By allowing players to match against players at their own skill level they can have a more pleasurable experience win or lose and get better. Trials would greatly become better as all of these top tier players would lose their easy wins. Matching teams with a 25kd against those with less than 1 is not true competition. It’s just easy wins for the elite players. Make them fight each other and see how really good they are for a change. Just my opinion.

2 RespuestasTHe funniest thing about it all is that the "GET GUD" crowd now has to "GET GUD" and they absolutely hate it.
-
What about 7 straight wins, regardless of whether they occur on one or multiple cards, is the trigger to move you to the flawless pool. The only people doing it on multiple cards are gaming the system anyways so deal with them as the cheaters they are (it’s match fixing, which is a form of cheating).
-
The inherent problem with this is the people who are trying for flawless but have not gone flawless that week. I do this a lot. Try and get 4 or 5 games without losing my mercy. If I do then reset.

3 Respuestas
Streamers and other carries will constantly reset their card to stay in the "easy" non-flawless pool.
People keep saying this but bungie has showed the statistics of people resetting cards that aren't flawless /have zero losses on them multiple times and it's not been very high, negligible at best. If this is a problem it's not as widespread as people seem to keep saying it is. I know that the urge is strong to chase boogeymen and call it a widespread problem with the game when you get bad matches, but I think that you've gotta understand that this is just the result of you putting yourself into a higher skill player pool. Bungie has done their best to make it rewarding to everyone while still making sure that it caters to the higher skilled playerbase like it's supposed to, and they're continuing to make improvements, but at some point you do have to understand that to really do well, you just gotta practice at it.

Who cares! I mean honestly.. all they will do is get a loss then carry people. The ones that are 6 win reseting don't care about the loot. It's to the point either just drop the playlise entirely or revert it back to the way it was.. I'm not the greatest pvp player but can hold my own most times.. but to me the changes like the flawless pool imo killed the game mode.. it's not the 6 win resets really.. it's because average players like myself get our one flawless and we dip.. where before the flawless pool I would play to try and get multiple.. leaving average players in the pool lo-blam!-.. instead the under average that wanted the flawless pool will now notice it harder because the above average 6 win reset to do carries.. so instead of being a lot more average teams it's 2 sweat stacks carrying... this is on the people that were for the flawless pool segregation!

7 RespuestasBungie should just get rid of the Flawless pool. Problem solved.
-
3 RespuestasThey took our ability to see the number of matched players during matchmaking. They can lockout resets on winning cards. If you haven’t gone flawless, you shouldn’t be playing people with 500 flawless runs on Sunday and Monday. Period.
-
13 RespuestasThey should remove the flawless card mechanic. Make it 7 wins total or something more to get to the lighthouse. Trials is a seriously flawed game mode
-
16 RespuestasHard to swallow pill: - Get good - you created this yourself with the flawless pool because you wanted no competition, as such they wait till Sunday reset to play trials - even if the flawless pool exists. Some people have requested bungo to neuter it so much player numbers has dropped that you face flawless pool once every 5 games Snowflake solos. I thank you humbly for -blam!- this up as well

2 Respuestassounds like a skill issue
-
1 RespuestaThe real issue is population and this is directly correlated to the lack of incentive. We need new weapons, perks, etc to come out every few months. Right now, most players have the rolls they want. Unless you're a pvp lover or someone doing carries, there is no reason to be in the playlist. Most of the casual players are far gone. Flawless pool is a dumb idea as well without additional incentive for being in the flawless pool. You cant blame people if loot is the same basically to remain in the easier pool to make runs faster.
-
Here's the thing: how do you accommodate the people who have to reset the card after they lose. 3 losses in Trials without a reset and you're locked out for the entire weekend. Next, it's not just the carries that reset - a lot of players who don't have a team to get Flawless do it just for loot. The only way to overcome reset spammers is to beat them in an actual match, which unfortunately takes improving on one's skills in PvP
-
Nah man. If I lose my mercy first game I reset, deal with it
-
1 RespuestaOr make it really expensive (material wise) to reset a card with no loses
-
5 RespuestasThe problem is this also hurts casual teams trying to go Flawless. And I have no idea how you expect Bungie to program the game to distinguish between casuals and sweats.
-
1 RespuestaWhat they need to fix is matchmaking. Me who has 2200 elo and a 1.17 is matching 3200 elo in top 500 with 2.7. We need matchmaking to be more fair than connection based.
-
Why not skip to the endgame? You're a criminal if you're good at the game or if you stream.
-
Well on paper that looks like a good idea but I see a lot of issues coming from it and it’s the the sweats having carrying issues…
