Legend and Master lost sectors shouldn't need to be done solo to get the exotics
There are currently 15 exotics in the game that can only be acquired from doing a legend or master lost sector. Not only is this outside many players skill level, but it's not even guaranteed that you'll get them anyway as they're not a certified drop. Plus, there are many other great exotic armour pieces that anyone can just get out of nowhere. Look, I have no problem with locking good gear behind something difficult, but this is a bit much. At least make it so that you don't have to do it solo, because then it would still be easier to get the armour whilst still having somewhat of a challenge.

It's all about repeatition. Know exactly where they'll be. I got some of the Lost Sectors down to 4 mins. It normally takes 4 tries to get the exotic for me.

I've spent most of my time playing those sectors swearing at my TV, because it was so unenjoyable to play. 2. Its not a skill problem. If you're having trouble its a build and an approach problem. 3. The Lost Sectors are overtuned. They are designed to play as a PUNISHING activity...and like a cover shooter rather than the power-fantasy game that the rest of the game plays like....and you can't take advantage of team shooting like you can in high level Nightfalls and other content where you have a fireteam. So you need to figure out a build that will let you cover all the champions you'll face, AND let you break the shields. Because every sector plays with some sort of "Match Game" modifier. Then what heavy weapon you need to put the Champions down (especially any Overloads) before they recover from being stunned. Regain their health...and then spamming fire at you continuously. Focush on high burst-damage (does a lot of damage in a very short period of time) weapons in your heavy slot....and save that heavy ammo for taking out stunned champions. After that, its a matter of finding where are the "safe" places to play from you aren't taking lethal fire from every direction....and what choke points you can use to feed the enemies into a kill box If you're doing a sector for the first time. Expect to FAIL for the first few runs while you figure out wht works and what doesn't. Then when you find out what does work, expect to have to repeatedly farm the Sectors between 5 to 15 times before that exotic drops. The drop rate will go up the more runs you complete. Bungie have fixed this issue for the most part by giving us the Arbalest catalyst. It trivialises Legend lost Sectors, I ain't run any masters with it because there is no point, the loot is the same.

I can agree to that. I would be nice for the solo completion to be a common drop while being in a fireteam makes the drop rare, then I don't mind. Some players are gatekept due to this, and I do understand as well as sympathize that not everyone is able to solo some content that others find easy, but giving them a way to get these armor pieces but it's all rng I the end

5 RespuestasI wouldn't call myself a high skilled player. I don't usually have an issue with the solo lost sectors, either difficulty. There are many guides out there to help people beat these. People may be too low light to try these solo, level up more?

1 RespuestaDude most of them can be done in less than 5 mins solo if you know what to do. Just learn how to be more effective and you can do it too

Save for maybe the Moon ones, which are more tedious than difficult, most of the tiered lost sectors aren't overly difficult and can be done solo fairly easy. The only one I've personally seen issue with is the Concealed Void, and it's more for that one blatantly glitched Overload champion more than anything. That said, I wouldn't mind a way to slightly sway certain exotic drops considering how low of a chance you get for a particular exotic (ex: getting a Synthocepts is 9.1% due to there being 11 Titan gauntlets, and that's on top of a 35% chance on Master difficulty over an overall 3.18%. This chance will gradually shrink as we get more exotic armor too).

It’s easy as long as you have the right champ mods with weapons that have somewhat good chemistry. My only issue is the drop rate sometimes.

1 RespuestaFirst, it's not that hard, arbalest+bow+linar rifle works fine for most of master lost sectors. Secondly, it's annoying to go in those sectors for new exotics.

They're not that hard and having to work out a.strat.and weapons to use is fun. Also there's so so many guides that explain it.

2 RespuestasThis is a Community result. A lot of solo players were asking Bungie for endgame activities that didn't require them to LFG or be social. This was Bungie's answer. To be fair, it's a nice sweet spot being hard and easy. Also, I've gotten quite a few exotics farming Legend. I know the drop rate is low, but on certain LS you can do a Legend run in under 5 minutes.
