Does anyone actually care about the Anniversary dlc?
How long can 1 dungeon be fun for really? 5-6 runs at the most?
What are you going to do with Gally? Run the same stuff you're running now, only with Gally? How long will that be fun for?
What are you going to farm Eyesluna and Longbow for? They are PvP weapons. So, are you going to grind for them and play pvp? Will they make pvp better? The peer to peer, cross play lag, terrible lobby balancing and matchmaking. What will these 2 guns do exactly?
I mean, who in the right mind is actually excited about this? Nothing is going to change.

While I’m taking a break t to o play Halo, which I’m really enjoying, I am actually excited about the anniversary pack. I think Bungie has some neat things up their sleeve. I can’t wait to get my hands on Gjallarhorn and Eyasluna. I just love testing out new weapons in PvP. Let’s try to remember this is a game we play for fun. If you’re not excited about it you aren’t required to play it.

Put them in eververse and charge less if you have to. otherwise, were is detail on the Dungeon. 30 year celebration should be a thank you for supporting us and tess revenue should make this free. Gally has been paid for twice.

For all its faults, major and minor, I have played very little else but Destiny for 7 years, because it's a game that you never really finish, such as Res Evil, GTA etc. At very base level, it's a shooter looter, and when new loot is on the table, you try to obtain it in its best form to use against enemies or other guardians. That's the game, and I don't know what people expect other than this. If Bungie gave us a hundred new strikes per season, they're strikes. Same with raids and dungeons. I agree, prices are climbing and I don't like the idea of having to buy stuff separately, but I feel the same way about free to play when I've [i]paid [/i]for it. As usual, I'll buy the all inclusive package to save a bit of cash, but I won't expect anything other than running strikes, dungeons, crucible etc because that is the game I'll be paying for.

2 RespuestasI know that if the Dungeon doesn't have matchmaking, I'll probably never play it until a way is found to solo it. I don't like having to go out-of-game to find teams of people who are no better than randoms in a matchmade activity. They're often worse; demanding voice chat, kicking you or abandoning the activity if you aren't carrying them fast enough, demanding loadouts that aren't necessary for completion despite not having that loadout themself or using it so poorly that they're half the DPS you are when you're barely trying with your "bad" loadout, etc. The list goes on. I still don't know why Bungie thinks this game needs voice communication outside of raids, and even some raids don't even need it. It's simply not hard enough and you don't need to clear an encounter the first time you've ever tried it with a new group.

It has ALWAYS been a premium game. But I’ve now spent over $1000 on just content alone. The only silver I have ever bought was to unlock the seasons. With removing the red war and destroying the new player experience, it seems Bungie have decided to focus more on the core players, and neglect new players. As such, the core players are left to foot the bill. Instead of millions of players all spending $25, we have tens of thousands spending $200-400. And it’s only gotten worse, not better. Destiny is in a really weird state. I’ve loved this franchise for 7 years, but the fact that all of D1 is still sitting there, pristine, while the content that bridged D1 and D2 is being eroded is just tragic. The Red War was a fantastic new player experience, and a very good entry point into the world. It got people invested in the characters. It’s removal was a mistake. The new light quest is a showcase of the absolute worst Destiny has to offer. And being sold an anniversary celebration, on the back of everything else I’ve had to pay for... Man, when does it end? When can I just enjoy the game without Bungie going above and beyond to disappoint and dishearten me?

1 RespuestaDo I care? Yeah sure, dungeons are usually my favorite activities in destiny, I always enjoy new armor, and the weapons should be fun. However pricing it at the same cost as 3 seasons? I don’t know what they were thinking.

The gally is a dope throw back tho I mean we all love it 😅. Need a handful of new weapons in there if possible tho 😬. Wouldn’t mind the supremacy to drop from og d1 so it has a better sight and has 90 rmp

2 RespuestasI'm 99% sure I'll buy the 30th pack. One more time round with 'Ol Gally. The ability nerfs/changes have me concerned about the "Space Magic" power feel in PvE though. So, I won't be pre-paying for Witchqueen, as I need to see how all the changes play out 1st. Even with weapon crafting; for me, weapons were a compliment to the build, and the abilities. Not, weapons 1st, and some abilities tacked on. If I wanted a gun play game, with limited abilities, I'd play some other FPS. I love the maximum carnage. The way it sounds now, builds, and gun rolls will be less diverse (speaking PvE wise mainly) Thresh, Wellspring and Demolitionist will be the perks to get, so that you can get abilities back asap. PvP, will be interesting to see how many Surplus rolled weapons people continue to hold on to, as the perk won't be active very often. Guess time will tell.

To be honest, I’m more excited about Sandbox changes. To see will it make game even better. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game. But there is always room to improve.

I'm looking forward to it. I never played marathon or the older games, but the content nonetheless excites me. I don't hold the level of D1 nostalgia that the rest of the forums do, but I think it's just unnessecary that I can't buy the 30th anniversary dungeon without the cosmetics.

Honestly, I’m way more excited for the ability tuning than the pack itself. Gally can only come back in one of two ways - breaking the game to satisfy nostalgia, or fairly balanced or underpowered, in which case it’s a disappointment. Shitterdive nerf tho… bring it on
