Title basically says it all, if you go into your collection and preview a shader when you have an exotic primary equipped, it applies the shader to the weapon in the preview, so the ability clearly exists, just wondering why we can’t apply shaders to exotic weapons, it works with ornaments on the guns as well

91 RespuestasNo. 1. Being able to quickly identify an exotic weapon is key to pvp balance. 2. Selling exotic weapon skins is a major source of revenue for Bungie. So I would not get your hopes up.
-
It really should be something we can do, but I don't see Bungie allowing it because then more people would notice that many of the ornaments for many of the exotics are nothing more than shaders
-
Seeing as how some ornaments are just shaders (aka graviton lance) I doubt Bungie will do it, would be nice but cant see it happening sadly.
-
The funny thing its the ability to do that is slightly already in the game so it's not like they couldn't make it a thing. if you have an exotic primary equipped and you go to collections and flair to the shader section and pick a shader it changes the color of the exotic weapon and the ornament of the weapon. So it's possible idk if it works on all exotic primaries but ive done it to some.
-
That would of been amazing
-
Would like to see this happen, that way we could get proper ornaments and not shaders on exotics🤙🏻

This might impact on the sales of ornaments through Eververse. Got to pay for all that sunsetting/vaulting you know. Oops, sorry meant "new content" there (ahem)
-
eververs would sufer..money money...

2 RespuestasThis should happen but prob won't because of ornaments. But IMO ornaments should always change the overall look and feel of the weapon, obviously it should always be apparent what exotic it is and a lot of ornaments do change the look quit a bit so not a big issue. either way exotic armor with ornaments can have shaders applied to them so weapons should too. and to anyone saying that exotic weapons need to be super easy to identify in pvp... no they don't. no one is looking that closely at opponents and you'll figure it out if they kill you with one. also weapons can be swapped during matches so you can't always be certain who is using what. lastly, no one has ever complained about loosing a match because they couldn't tell what exotics the enemy was using.

6 RespuestasI've honestly wanted this for so long. Idk if it still applies but before if you had an exotic weapon in your primary slot(Ex like Suros) when you went to go inspect a shader, the gun would also be shaded and it would look really nice
-
5 RespuestasReally all that is wrong with this game and you want them to work on this. Really dude let them fox the game
-
Yes please!

1 RespuestaEditado por Harrowed Chaos: 11/22/2021 11:50:21 PMI’m only for this so that Bungie can no longer slap on a shader and call it an “ornament.” Nearly all of the Season of Splicer ornaments are just the gun itself but with Gambit Chrome
-
1 RespuestaWill not happen. Shaders on exotic weapons would mean that they would sell less weapon ornaments. Everything that could possibly lower sales will not happen with Bungie.
-
Yes But they're called "ornaments" and cost 700 silver
-
I'd like to be able to mods on said exotics
-
Would be cool.
-
2 RespuestasThat's what ornaments are for 👍
-
When you spend $1000 for the upgrade then $10 each use
-
7 RespuestasThat would make 50% of ornaments useless
-
Atleast its not d1 ornaments
-
Unfortunately, bungie would never do this because they want us to waste a stupid amount of money to change the appearance of guns from buying ornaments 😑
-
No, abilities have been nerfed, lololol

Editado por Suicide Soldier: 11/21/2021 11:34:54 PMSorry. Was checking.

No,the they would have to put more effort into ornaments, and actually make them look different instead of a different color
