Trials Matchmaking is completely broken this week
My last 7 trials matches: (Avg ELO, Winning% chance)
2457-1786, 98%
1767-1273, 94%
2469-1311, 100%! (Screen shot attached)
1955-1573, 90%
1974-1752, 78%
2026-1555, 94%
2224-1477, 99%
This is totally unacceptable... To put players into a match with a 0.0% chance of winning is beyond terrible for the game, the player pool, and the longevity of the game mode.

Makes sense. Destiny is really unpopular right now. Most are on cod, BF, and of course halo I bet it takes so long to find a match, just to deal with special weapon users who are BP level 300 as they glitch across the map 😂 I still can’t believe HOW TERRIBLE bungie is at making pvp modes

The first two weeks where amazing to play this sucks it’s no fun and it makes average players not even want to bother with it. And it makes me want to cheat to win. Let’s not even get to talking about the ammo economy or telesto again in trials this week. Ugh bungie why can’t you just leave well enough alone???????

Oh I stopped playing trials a couple weeks ago. They don’t get to farm my poor self anymore lol. I actually gave up on it during the freelance period. Which should have been the best time. But no. The first two weeks were by far the best place trials has been in in a long time. And they did a Bungie thing and ruined it. Gg guys. You didn’t want uneven matches or occasional blowouts? Well, now you get a fraction of the population playing your mode. Hope it was worth it 🤷🏼♀️

4 RespuestasLook at trials report, this is one of the lowest population weeks of the season. Hasn't even passed 1M in played matches. The fact the player pool is so small. You will only find sweats and no lifers in the playlist

I went flawless yesterday on my first try my dude. To put this in perspective, my trials kd is 1.09, another teammate of mine had a 1.11, and the third had a 1.69. Now before you jump on that last one, I out performed him this week. My kda was 2.11 and my kd was 1.75. His was lower for the week. It isn't that hard.

2 RespuestasYes its rediculous this weekend. Also Bungie please fix the non flawless pool. Now all the sweats and paid carries are just recetting at 6 wins so they do not go flawless. They just boost kd and make the playlist toxic. Yesterday (after flawless pool kicked in) we matched twice in a row a team who was on a 16 winstreak and who of which 2 players had overal 2.0 kd... Bungie please mittigate this by only allowing card recet after a card shows a loss (cannot go flawless on that card). That way the sweats need to loose before they recet at 6 wins

Not saying I disagree - but I’d be grateful simply not to have to wait 10min for a game and then be playing with 50% connection against teams on another continent. 😀

The matchmaking is garbage but you're all way off the mark on how it works. You're currently getting shafted because of it and 6 win reset buds. But can't really do anything about the resets really. The top percentage will always find a work around. The MM however you can push for change on.

Just don’t play it. I’m waiting to see how the ability/super nerfs go. I’m hoping changes are made that change the meta from HC and shotguns to something else. I’m not a good player but these changes could make playing more fun and less of the same old stale experience.

I refuse to play anymore for that reason -- the egghead elitist losers cried so much, that BUNGIE is handing average/below average heads on a silver platter to them. Not mine. I haven't been in since week after they took Free Lance away. I KNEW this would happen (especially after FL was so successful). PVP is CRAP right now anyway --ACROSS the board!

I mean just keep playing and you'll eventually get to the lighthouse. My friends and I are the most average players and even we're able to hit the lighthouse.

25 RespuestasCard based matchmaking is garbage. They got rid if it in D1 and everyone loved it. It makes no sense why they are sticking with it here.

1 RespuestaThe flawless # & percentage haven't changed in weeks. Bungie says, we are above 20% flawless yay! But it's the same people each week. The only way to fix it would be sbmm, but Bungie would never betray their t Streamers & hardcore sweats like that. I can already see the sarcastic tweats going out about it. They don't need harse sbmm either, just stop the gross diamond/plat/legand teams from playing bronze/silver like your example But nope, "git gud or git farmed" (ya know, getting 0-5 a few hundred times will certainly make me a better player) is how they want it, despite what they said when they announced the revamp

Trials is losing solos, casuals, and low skilled players RAPIDLY. They aren’t coming back to trials until next season. They won’t be back long though.

EDIT: @DHawk12 thank you. I mixed up passage and card status. My oopsie there! They matchmake based on passage/card status.

Everyone who would of gone flawless 2 months ago on Friday and Saturday night wait until Sunday and Monday because it will be easier. Which doesn’t make a flawless pool really worth having in the game. Solo queue should match solos and teams should face teams. That’s the only way to fix the matchmaking.
